Just want to wish all the Canadian UDers a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving long weekend!
Hard to believe it's upon us again. And with the recent hot temperatures, it does not feel like October (and I moved to Calgary expecting snow at the end of August! ) . The biggest thing I'm thankful for is that I moved to Calgary. Still unemployed, but I hope that changes very soon (found a job I'm very interested in early this morning, so hopefully I get a recruiter's attention). I'm just hoping I win the Lotto Max today and then I'll be thankful for not having to look for work. Strange Turkey weekend for me this year as it's the first time I'm celebrating alone, but my parents and sister are coming for a visit a week after the long weekend, so I guess that's when I'll get some turkey.
