Favorite Disneyland area?

Post by Leonia »

So what's everyone's favorite area in Disneyland? (ie. Adventureland, Tomorrowland...)

My personal favorite is Fantasyland.

It has been a LONG time since I've been there.

At the moment, Frontierland is my favourite "theme", mainly because it involves Davy Crockett. Looking at the map, it seems to have "Critter County" and "Winnie the Pooh Stuff" just outside it, so that has to be cool, right?

Though, the stuff that stands out most in my mind were the "jungle river rides" (Jungle Crusie?) and "Pirates of the Caribbean" (in New Orleans Square?). I also have a thing for New Orleans at the moment, so these appeal to me most. I plan to go to both New Orleans AND Disneyland next year, so I will get the best of both worlds I guess.

And yes, I do have fond memories of it's a small world, but I was 7....

New Orleans Square! I love the atmosphere, the shops, the restaraunts, and The Haunted Mansion & Pirates of the Caribbean are my favorite rides in the park.

Though Fantasyland holds the most nostalgiac value for me. I still love to ride every one of the rides there.

Tomorrowland! I remember being in Tokyo DisneyLand around 6:00 at night, and there were absolutely NO LINES for any ride! I rode Space Mountain, like, fifty times in a row!

Well have never been to Disneyland in California, but if we transfer the question to the park in Florida instead:

While The Extra-TERRORestrial Alien Encounter and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea-ride (submarines) was around I had my favorites both in Fantasyland and in Tomorrowland.

Both are now sadly gone, so I think Adventureland is my favorite now.
Jungle cruise, Pirates... and so on.

Fantasyland, especially in Disneyland. There are so many more rides there, as opposed to the one in WDW. I also really like New Orleans Square. It definitely beats Liberty Square in Florida. I mean, The Hall of Presidents? How dull is that? :tink:

I haven't been to DL, but as for WDW, Fantasyland is my favorite, just because of the atmosphere.

I like all of the worlds...I'd have to say that I love 'em all...they all have different perks.
So I'd have to say that I like Main Stree the best. It's not a 'land', but it's my favorite part. That feeling you get when you first enter the park and head down main street...I love it!
