I don't think we even have one in Boston. So I dunno what's going on there.

Closed. The same way it's been for the past five/six years.

My state used to have one and I didn't know about it soon enough to visit it at least once. I find a lot of plushes at yard sales and thrift stores with "Disney Store" on their tush tags and I've bought quite a few of them.

The one closest to me has been closed for quite a few years. I don't even remember if I got the chance to go inside it.

The one in my local mall closed almost 2 years ago. Very sad.

All I have is a crappy outlet store, which just gets the stuff left over from the real Disney stores.

Only good thing about that one was the Hamm banks they were selling. Otherwise I never see anything new. Had a great one in the 90s in my mall, but that seems like forever ago.

I'm still trying to get used to my new city, but it appears we have two here in Calgary. I know there is an outlet store in the Crossiron Mills Mall - cause I walked by it, and it appears there is one in a mall in the south part of the city. Gonna have to check them both out one of these days.

That one was cool.

The current new one in NYC when me, Princephillipfan and Duster went to see it, suck hardcore balls. The previous one was much much better.

Ahh, now That's the Disney store I remember. probably not that specific one, but the one I used to have in Dover Delaware looked exactly like it. had the film reel theme to it.

Wasnt there supposed to be a major overhaul going on with the Disney Stores? I heard something about them making them more apple store like. Ive been to a few out of state and they didn't seem to be any different.

The Toronto Eaton Centre Disney store still has the pink/green look. I'm not 100% sure, but it may be the last one to look like that. Merch is the same as any other though.

Yeah it's the shitty one i'm talking about that's already in NYC.

Right now the too malls near me that have the Disney Store, don't have the new look but the first two images I posted.

But the new look is going be the one you see in NYC. It's bad.

My Disney store closed... but there are three in pretty close proximity to me, one being a bad outlet. The outlet is really ugly. It looks nothing like a Disney store and more like a seasonal "pop up" store used to get rid of merchandise. It has linoleum flooring and white walls. The other two are nice, regular Disney stores. They both look very similar and carry mostly the same product from what I can tell. I'm also relatively close to the NYC store which was renovating the first floor the last time I visited.

Haha some what. It's an hour train ride / drive for me.. but I did an internship at the end of last year in Tribeca so I'm slowly getting used to the city. Hopefully I'll be moving there in a few years. :) Maybe some day!

That's what the Disney store where I live looked like but it closed down 4 years ago. At the end of it they only had Hannah Montana and crap like that in it /=

I use to love going to it though in the 90's when it had good merchadise. I wish it would come back the nearest one to me is about 2 hours away now.

What local Disney Store? Where I live now, I don't think there has ever been one. But, to be fair, before I moved from Utah, the Orem and Murry Disney Stores didn't seem to have much of a DVD or Blu Ray section. Then a few months ago, when I was back home in LA, I went past the Santa Monica one and I don't remember seeing any DVD's or Blu Rays there. I went by the Glendale, CA one (which was also the first one built), I don't remember seeing much of a DVD or Blu Ray stand, but I think there was more then in Santa Monica.

San Francisco Disney Store is pretty cool - it's a new one so it's fully decked with the new displays, but there's hardly any DVD section to speak of. Lots of merchandise though, so if you're after clothes/toys/etc it's definitely a great one to stop at.

Weird thing about Fresno Disney Store - I'm positive it closed in the late 90s, but it recently re-opened...as exactly the same kind of store! With the 1980s-90s era displays, not the fanciness of the new Disney Store setup.
