Final Destination 5

Post by Christopher_TCUIH »

I was just wondering if anyone is planning to see Final Destination 5 and your opinions on the series overall? :)

I've seen all of them with the exception of the 5th one. These movies are the only ones I don't eat some sort of snack while watching lol

Don't waste your time or money on number 5. It is just another tired retread of the first four films.

They should have quit with the first one, just like all the "Friday the 13th", "Nightmare on Elm Street", and "Halloween" movies. The first one is always the best, and the rest are just lame re-boots.

Of course, that is just my opinion. But you did ask.
The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!
I LOVE my Blu-Ray Disc Player!

I only liked the first one. The rest were just shit. Same thing with Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Saw, etc.

I saw it opening day in 3D, and it's by far my favorite in the series, the first a close second. The 3D was also some of the best 3D i've seen in awhile, or atleast best used.

I liked the ending of this one.

The ending was the best part XD

However, I've only seen the first two (and this one).

@ dvdjunkie: It's okay I love getting other people's opinions. I'll probably see this one when they play it on televison. Have you seen the reboots of Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, or Halloween? I havent seen Nightmare, and I didnt like Halloween but I was actually pleased with the Friday the 13th! I thought it was cool of them to make their own story out of the material as opposed to Rob Zombie who followed the plot too closely.

@ supertalies: You actually don't need to see 3rd or 4th (unless you want to for fun). I got the scoop on this movie (ending and all) and the ones you've seen actually have a good connective thread. The 3rd one is okay but it's kind of off its own world. I think the 4th one is the worst out of the series. The characters aren't very likeable therefore you dont even care if they survive.
