Of course, its my favorite show of the summer.
Last night was good. The first guy that auditioned really made Howie mad. You shouldn't grab someone that has OCD like that, and then almost set him on fire. That was crazy. When the guy brought out the hand sanitizer, I know he was joking, but that was going a little too far. I don't blame Howie for getting upset, but it was funny that it was the main reason Piers sent him though. Piers said on The Tonight Show last week that he didn't like Howie (I think he was joking), because he played tricks on him, etc... Guess that was Piers pay back.
Anyway the last act really looked like a Vegas act, and I can see them going far.

I agree with you totally on that Unicyclist using Howie for a prop. That was uncalled for, and he almost went over the edge of the stage, which would have served him right for doing that.
The very nervous singer, who finally let it all go wasn't bad at all. He will have to get over the stage fright to continue much further though.
The first magician, Landon, was amazing. I am still trying to figure out how he did that, and then those three little boys who did the rap thing were so cute!!! How could anyone say "no" to that.
Illuminate was the last act last night and they were definitely a Las Vegas style show, and I hope they go as far as "Fighting Gravity" did last year.
Next week we will have two episodes, Tuesday and Wednesday night.

Were you watching last night when that retail sales clerk blew the judges out of their seats with her impressions and comedy? That was just the opening act for the second night of auditions for "America's Got Talent", and the rest of the show was very interesting.
There were two brothers who thought they could sing, and couldn't. They challenged the judges to do better and Howie jumped on stage and joined them and they didn't sound any better so the three "x's" stood and they were sent packing.
A group called "PopLyfe" demonstrated an acoustic sound that was pretty good, but Piers made the lead singer cry when he said she was better than the rest of the group and should sing without them.
Tonight (Wednesday, June
is a two-hour audition night. We will get some more things to laugh at and laugh with, and I am sure some really good acts to follow through to Vegas.
It all starts on NBC at 9 pm Eastern (8 Central). Don't miss it.

Last night 'double' whammy of "America's Got Talent" saw both sides of the talent spectrum. We saw some very talented dancers, and heard some very terrible singers.
The Houston auditions looked like they produced the most good talent, while the Minneapolis/St. Paul auditions were just so-so.
Capt. Splash is going to try to set a world record for his remarkable dive into only 12" of water, by jumping from over 36 feet. I gotta see this!!!
Piers Morgan was snowed in and unable to get to Minneapolis until the auditions were almost over, so we don't know how many of those who got through with just Sharon and Howie on the panel will make the first cut.
Next week we have more auditions on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Sorry NHL fans, but...dvdjunkie wrote:Only one night of auditions this week as the NHL pre-empts everything on NBC in the evenings this week.
Tonight's "America's Got Talent" is on just before another two-hour 'Live' "The Voice".

Noticed that the previews running on NBC say the kids take over tonight. I assume it will be a lot of young contestants. Should be interesting. I know I would have a terrible time Xing one of them, or telling them no.

Seattle auditions turned out to be pretty weak, but they did a couple of good ones. I thought the three little boys were phenomenal for their ages, 8=10.
Next week, we will have auditions on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

We have three hours of auditins this week. Tuesday night we get one hour and Wednesday night we get two-hours of auditions. This season is ramping up as to be one of the best ever as far as talent goes. Not many singers, but those who have made it to Vegas are very solid in their performances.

With the President's speech screwing up the television schedule last night, we only got one hour of new auditions from New York, and then a rerun of the first week's show.
Not a lot to offer from New York, but what they did get was quality stuff. A really great magic act and a very good singer.
Next week we will get three more hours of auditions.

Beginning Tuesday, July 5, it is "Las Vegas Week" and time for all those selected acts to give it one more try to make the cut before the "Live" shows in Los Angeles.
The judges have their hands full because they sent through a lot of quality acts this year. It should be interesting.
It all begins Tuesday night on NBC.

Okay, we now know who the Top 48 contestants will be and next Tuesday, July 12, it all starts.
The "Live" America's Got Talent" talent search is on and for the next six weeks, we will see 12 of the Top 48 and it will be paired down to the Top 24 when each Wednesday results show we will see eight talented people cut.
The first four weeks will be the Top 48 and the last two weeks will be the "wild" card weeks and then we will have our Top 24.
As in most of the other shows there will be three ways to vote, phone, text, and on-line. So be sure and vote for your favorites beginning next Tuesday.

Anybody else watch "America's Got Talent" last night. It was an amazing show, and this year's talent far and above any they have had in the past years.
"Snap Boogie" is far and away one of my top favorites, along with the Miami Dancers, who were just awesome this week.
Tonight is the results show where 8 of the first 12 contestants will be eliminated from this year's contest. Only four of the 12 each week get sent on to the Semi-Finals.
Guests on the show tonight include the cast of "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert". Should be a very entertaining hour.

Snap Boogie and Anna Graceman made it through last night to the Semi-Finals on "America's Got Talent" Results Show, which also featured guest stars Avril Livigne and the cast of Tony-Award-Winning "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert", the Broadway musical directed by Bette Midler.
Miami Street Dancers and the Russian Bar trio also made it through to the Semi-Finals.
Next Tuesday night it will round two of the Quarter Finals and another 12 contestants try for the next four berths. This year's talent has been the best I have ever seen, and it is really hard to vote for just four out of the twelve acts.

Not really getting into this Season, and last night was great. Only a few deserve to go on, and its a shame that some of the talent last week had to go. I hope next weeks line up is better.
The Howie/Piers stuff is pretty funny. Do they really hate each other, or is it just put on for the show? I know in interviews Piers always says Howie is annoying, etc...

From what I have read in other websites they definitely are good friends, but Howie thinks that Piers is to "hoity toity" and likes to play little pranks on him. And we won't let up because Piers makes such a big thing about it.
Last night's show clearly had the four winners - the very good, but creepy gay singer, piano player and dancer; the motorcycle brothers were just amazing again; Landon the Magician was very good (how did he do that?); and of course, my favorite from the very first week, Silhouettes, who were fantastic.
Gonna record tonight's results show so I don't have to sit through some inane acts that they call entertainment.

Anyone watching this season??? Wow, Tuesday night's show was filled to the brim with some great talent. This has to be one of the best year's for AGT.
A group from Oakland, CA called POPLYFE was the highlight of the show as they did a killer version of Adele's "Rolling' In The Deep". They also had a guy called Captain Splash, who dove 36' 9" into a 12" deep wading pool and walked away. The "Sh'Boss Boys", young little rappers, 5, 6, and 7 years age put on a pretty good show doing a rap version of "ABC", the Jackson Five hit song from years ago, and it was pretty good.
The judges and the American viewing public have a pretty tough job this year in the voting. Out of the 12 acts that appear each night, only four are put through to the semi-finals.
And this week on the Results show, Stevie Nicks was there and she was amazing, and also told America that she is taking last year's winner, Michael Grimm, out on tour this year. She said that she was amazed at his voice and plans on doing a couple of duets while on tour.
Next Tuesday night is the final 12 contestants of the original 48, and then there will be two weeks of "wild card" talent, those who didn't make it through the first time, and then the "Semi-Finals" with the Top 24.

Not so surprising Results this week, but next week we get to see 12 acts that were selected from their auditions on YouTube, and then a "Wild Card" week where the judges have selected 12 acts from the previous shows to get one more chance at stardom.
Maroon 5 were totally great, and I guess I am out of the loop because I have never heard of the other guest on the show, his first name was Jason and he sucked. If that's talent, then I guess I am just getting too old for this so-called modern music.
