Which princess had the prettiest dress?
I don't think this has been discussed before.
Which Disney princess do you think had the prettiest dress?

I think my favorite dresses, of the princesses, are Cinderella’s pink dress and Tiana’s two green dresses. Of course, Belle and Cinderella are probably the best overall, if you’re judging based on all the designs they’re given; they probably have the best combination of dresses. Cinderella's silver and Belle's yellow are typical choices, but they're still great. But, if we're going on favorites, Tiana wins for me.
I’ve actually never been crazy about any of Ariel’s dresses, even though that’s my favorite movie. I prefer her best in her mermaid design. I liked them more once Disney Duster pointed out how they combine the past princess dress designs, but still not loving them. The funny thing is the wedding dress was probably my favorite of the bunch, but I hear a lot of people hate that one.
I also hate the dress design they have for Rapunzel. Worst part about that character.

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

Hey, maybe I'm a little crazy, but for some reason- besides the dress colors-, Ariel and Aurora's peasant clothes look alike.Fairytales wrote: I also like Ariel's dress during Kiss the Girl, and Aurora's dress during Once upon a dream.
Anyways, I love Aurora's princess gown, Ariel's sparkling dress and Tiana's wedding bayou gown.

Yes!supertalies wrote:Weren't a lot of Ariel's 'human' clothes based on dresses worn by previous princesses?
So it does make sense.

By the way, my favorite dress has always been Jasmine’s purple dress.

I’m so glad they just included that outfit in the new Disney Store Princess Playset, which I just bought!

I think Tiana has the most inventive of all the dresses, and very beautiful too !
But Ariel's dresses hold a special place in my heart
And yes, even the pink dress ! Which I really dont get the big deal about ... !
I honestly prefer the Princesses simple dresses if I'm honest. I wish they were pictured in them more, instead of their sometimes ginormous and pouffy gowns !

How about Ariel's underwater attire? Better than any dress, if you ask me.

I wish that they'd put the princesses in their simple dresses out in the Disney theme parks. Considering that they have Aladdin in both street rat and Prince Ali costumes, and that Mary Poppins and Bert (at least traditionally) had Jolly Holiday costumes for summer and spring and regular London-town costumes for autumn and winter, it would be nice to see the princesses out in the Disney theme parks in their simple costumes (I know they do/did that for Belle).
If I were going to vote for a ball gown or something regal, though, I'd go for Cinderella's ball gown. Or anything that Jasmine or Pocahontas wear.
Yep, when it comes to proper land costumes, those normally do it for me the most. For that reason, I like Ariel's village dress and Aurora/Briar Rose's woodland dirndl the most, closely followed by Cinderella's ripped dress. There's something more girl-next-door about them, and more obtainable.atlanticaunderthesea wrote:I honestly prefer the Princesses simple dresses if I'm honest.
