Coming up Masterpiece Edition which one are you going to buy

Post by MickeyMousePal »

I don't know if anyone already did this.

We know that Pocahontas, Lilo and Stitch and Mary Poppins are going to be Masterpiece Edition which ones are you planning to buy first.
Which one can't you wait to get.
I already bought them when they were all relase on DVD.
I guess I'll buy them again for the extra.

My first one I can't wait to get would be Pocahontas the Gold Collection was so horrible it need to be upgraded.

I also would get Lilo and Stitch second and Mary Poppins last.

I will probably get Mary Poppins. I might get Pocahontas after that, but before I have to get Alice in Wonderland. One thing I know for sure is that I will not be getting Lilo & Stitch, that is way far from being a masterpiece.

The poll makes it sound like we can only buy one. Is this so?

In any event, I imagine I'll buy Mary Poppins first, since the other two aren't coming until next year.

Not sure if I'll buy Mary Poppins or not but I'll definitely be getting both Pokey-haunt-us and Lilo & Stitch.

Which one do you really want to get and you waited a long time for it to come out on DVD again. :)

Well, then all of them...and none of them. I own all three on DVD already, but I'm looking forward to upgrading all three, as well. Mary Poppins is my favorite movie out of the three, though, and it has the most potential for really great extras, I think.

We own NONE of the current releases, so I'll definitely pick up two, probably all three of them.

I am getting all of them but if I had to pick only one it would be Mary Poppins because the Lilo & Stitch and Pocahontas dvds I have are good enough for now.

Lilo and Stitch, I will certainly buy. I TRY not to double up, but I tend to make an exception with the Disney animated stuff. In any case, I will be buying every version of Lilo and Stitch that is ever released for all eternity, even if I have to buy new equipment just to play it.

Mary Poppins I have not bought, hoping there would be an SE - and it looks like my patience will pay off in this case.

Pocahontas, however, will have to be pretty special for me to upgrade. The current R4 I have is widescreen 1.66:1; has a making of; production features; multi-language reel; Creating Pocahontas featurette; The Music of Pocahontas featurette; Storyboard To Film Comparison; Abandoned sequence and deleted sequence (which is also on the new disc). For a film that is not one of my favourite animated films, this might be enough for me. But I guess I'll wait for the finished product to see.

When all is said and done, I may still get all 3 - but if I had to choose just one, it would most certainly be Lilo and Stitch. Even though I don't have MP, I just can't get enough of the little blue guy (he is so cute and fluffy).

I definately will be getting Mary Poppins since that is one I don't own yet. I am seriously thinking of possibly upgrading Lilo. Don't know about Pocahontas yet. Completely depends on my mood at the time and if I have room on my shelf.

I'm with you on that one. :)

Yeah, Lilo & Stitch is my pick, for most-anticipated. I have the single-disc, but will get the two-disc, for the features, and just because. Cause I love the film. It's my favorite. I normally don't double on anything, either (and haven't yet), but will make an exception for this.

Mary Poppins is great. I like Pocahontas, but...don't know if I'll be getting either of them. It'll depend...
