Post by MickeyMouseboy »

Hey Gang here's some mini reviews of upcoming movies

Spy Kids 3D - Presented in 1.85:1 Anamorphic Tridimensional Widescreen  on Disc 1 while disc 2 carries the special features and the 2D version. all the menus on Disc 1 are 3D disc one has 3 alexia vega perfomances from the movie's premiere in Austin, TX in 4:3 WS. and a mini doc on the making of the film if you press the play all. also included is a 3D set up to help you set up your TV for the optimal Tridimensional experience! sneek peeks include the trailer for the Miramax films Ella Enchanted Coming this spring!, then we get all spy kids merch, brother bear and haunted mansion! MMB Thoughts: While spy kids was never one of my fav. films....I really liked this one just because of the 3D visuals which are pretty awesome! this 2 disc set comes packed with bonus features!

The Missing - Presented in 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen. Disc 1 carries only the feature, audio commentary and sneek peeks for Spiderman 2, Devil Boy and some other cool upcoming Sony Pictures! Disc 2 is reserved for the Special features! We get Deleted Scenes, Featurettes, Outtakes, Alternative Ending, Photo Gallery and the Director's on ........
MMB Thoughts I loved this movie! it's the best western after Open Range that we gotten this year. I like Cate Blanchett, she did an awesome job and the rest of the cast. If you don't want to spend $$ on buying it at least rent it and give it a spin it's really worth it!

Upcoming Mini-reviews include:

Dickie Roberts: former child star DVD
Matchstick Men DVD

quite frankly, I loved the first two Spy Kids, but the third one doesn't appeal to me at all. I'm sure it's a hit with the younger children, but I think it is completely foolish, the third installment, though it might not be.

Here's Three New Mini Reviews

Dickie Roberts: former child star DVD - Presented in 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen. 5.1 Surround Sound. 2 Commentaries by director and cast, Reel Comedy, The True Hollywood Story, 9 Deleted Scenes, Theatrical Trailer & more. MMB Thoughts - I've never seen such a stupid movie in my whole life! .....wait that's not true! I guess i could say this adds to the list of stupid movies i've seen  If you're totally into crude & sexual jokes, people hitting themselves or hurting themselves for the sole purpose of making you laugh then this is your movie! or..... if you're a parent an your kids feel the peer-pressure of watching it cause their friends at school have watched it and they want to fit it you might want to give it a rent..... Everyone else YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Matchstick Men DVD - Presented in 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen, 5.1 DD Surround, Trailer, Audio Commentary by Ridley Scott. MMB Thoughts - All I have to say is this is a Ridley Scott film! Where has he ever gone wrong? Alien ........ Gladiator.......now Matchstick Men! This is care free movie where you can just sit, relax and enjoy. Disclaimer: No Brain Power will be spent MMB Recommended

Don't Tempt Me (Sin Noticias de Dios) - Presented in 1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen, Theatrical Trailer, English Subtittles, and Filmographies.MMB Thoughts - Well I can't describe this movie! it's so awesome! It's a Foreign! 3 hot women! is there more to ask? hehe Penelope Cruz, Fanny Ardant, and Victoria Abril. Most of the Film is in Spanish (Spain), French and tats of English. Here's a little summary of the plot:
Heaven has sent its best, and the devil has enlisted his worst - Victoria Abril and Penelope Cruz co-star as agents doing battle for ultimate supremacy. The winner is to be decided by whoever can secure the soul of a short-tempered, punch-drunk boxer on earth. These sexy angels pull no punches, using their brains, wiles and of course, sex appeal. Damnation has never been this seductive, and seduction never more heavenly; he’s not going to know what hit him…he’s only human!
