Uwanted DMC Orders.

Post by PixarFan2006 »

Today, I got an unexpected package from DMC (even though I did not order anything from there since February). I looked on my order history and discovered it was the 1 disc Blu-Ray of Alice in Wonderland from the featured selections (Which I probably forgot to refuse).

Has this ever happened to anyone?

Of course! It's unfortunate, though. My Mom enrolled in it a few years ago and they took money (that we could NOT afford to lose at that time) out of our account and sent 2 movies. Not to mention they overcharge for them.

I forgot to cancel Oliver and Company. you can return the movie as long as it's still stealed, you just lose the shipping returning it. but better losing $1.50 than $25 or more for an overprice title that you bought a month before when it was released

Is it possible to get feature title turned off after reaching VIP?

FrugalFreak, you still have to go into your account each month and either accept or deny the feature title. Otherwise they will still charge and send them to you.

They did absolutely nothing wrong you guys had not declined the title if you don't do that as has been said every month it is shipped. If it is such a problem fulfill your contract and cancel your membership. With me I rarely buy from the club only have my membership on the rare occasion of a new exclusive i would like to get have long since fulfilled my obligation and am always sure to decline the title for the month so I don't get charged. And even if they did send it to you, you can return it for a full refund.

I just re-joined the club. The thing, I can't find the featured title. Cn anybody tell me where I can decide if I want it or not?I expect it's Tangled, but I don't want Tangled on Blu-Ray. Which berings me to my second question, I signed up as a Blu-Ray member because I wanted to upgrade my Pixar movies from DVD, which is not the case for most of the titles in my collection. How can I downgrade my account to a DVD account?

Sadly, turning it off means canceling your membership. I've faced this issue a few times. I guess being part of the DMC means staying on your toes each month!

A couple months (3? 4?) ago, I got Muppets Most Wanted sent to me; I was sure I had declined the movie, as the site said I had no movie to decline, yet it got shipped to me (after already purchasing it elsewhere). I just logged onto the site to decline The Three Musketeers, and the site says that have an outstanding balance for The Santa Clause 3; I never got a mailing about that; I changed my address a month or 2 ago, so I'm not sure if that mailing got lost...

It almost seems like some months have more than one featured title to respond to, some without the mailed packet...?

I haven't received TSC3 in the mail yet.

I'm about ready to cancel my account. So frustrated.

*edit*

The nice lady said that TSC3 was offered 10/28-11/24 or something like that, how it WAS the 2nd movie of the month for that period. She said I should receive it no later than 12/24 and I can send it back or do an exchange (still sending it back, of course). Luckily my credit card isn't on file- it had expired- so I haven't been charged yet and can hopefully pull a "Unwanted-Return to Sender" (I had opened the shopping box for TMMW unfortunately). I didn't cancel my account but maybe I should still...
