As we've already stated, he announced that "Monsters Inc. 2" will be released on Nov. 16, 2012. Pete Docter is back on board as well as the actors playing Mike and Sully
Andrew Stanton's live-action debut, "John Carter of Mars" is supposed to be out in 2012 but hasn't been slotted with a release date yet.
Jason Segal will have a Muppet film that is loaded with cameos of celebrities just like previous films in the series. Muppet gets new character: Walter. No details, except he's made of felt.
The trailer for "Tangled" was shown and is very similar to the one that was leaked online, but not exactly like it. There is a clear emphasis to try to play up the adventure for boys
Pixar's "The Bear and the Bow" is now titled: "Brave" and will be released June 15, 2012.
Disney says May is for Marvel. Thor is May 6 next year, Captain America in July -- the The Avengers dated already for May 4, 2012.
Disney studio chief Rich Ross says he nixed a planned 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea remake because it was "too dark." May revisit someday.
Prom movie set for 2012 will be more authentic less squeaky-clean
Disney's horse-racing drama Secretariat (which apparently will retain its name despite rumors of title change) surprisingly aims for women. Stars Diane Lane as "housewife" who comes to own champion horse. Secretariat foal played by his own great-grandson.
Disney's Live-action Sorcerer's Apprentice has fun homage to Fantasia: Jay Baruchel makes splash getting mops & brooms to clean wizard lair
Sugar Ray Leonard really knocked me out on the set of the Hugh Jackman robot-boxing movie "Real Steel."

I've circled two movie titles that aren't very clear. Do my eyes deceive me? Is that "Gnomeo and Juliet" scheduled for 2011? Wow, I thought they had scrapped that.
Can anyone tell what's the title behind Rich Ross? enigmawing, is it possible to remove him in order to see what's behind?

I think its Disney Nature's African Cats. It looks like it would be in the right place. And I really hope BatB 3D isnt cancelled, but I think the list only includes new releases.

I wish it was that easy. Anytime I "erase" a watermark or do a similar edit I'm actually painting new pixels over the top of the existing image, and it's all guesswork on my part.
I'm sure Babaloo is right about it being African Cats. Compare what little we see from the photo to the logo in the trailer:
Except for the width of the font it looks the same.
Jeez, what a dud. Nothing on this list is new or surprising, and seeing how huge this event usually is - Rich Ross really dropped the ball here. Most of those projects were already semi-announced when Dick Cook was still around. I was really hoping for either that Maleficent project, that Oz film, more info on Frankenweenie, or something along those lines.
As for that Gnomeo and Juliet film, I honestly don't see it on that screen. I really don't. Plus, isn't it a Miramax project - which is about to be sold to the Weinsteins - thus making it impossible to appear next year.
And Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America being on that board is no surprise. Marvel produces those films, Paramount does not. Paramount basically has nothing to do with those movies, aside from the obligatory distribution thanks to the deal they struck with Marvel before the acquisition.
pretty damn lame if you'd ask me. No one outside the US gives a damn about those esoteric superheroes, Thor? or worse yet, Captain America? No thanks, I'd rather poke my own eyes out.
At least that Beverly Hills Chihuahua sequels appears to be canceled as well. But then that "Prom" thing sounds horrifying.

Aww, shame we have to wait longer for that. But, I guess they needed to fill the empty void left by Newt's cancellation. And now Cars 2 is Pixar's only release for 2011, I guess.
Still, I'm curious if they mean Pete Docter is on-board as a producer or a screenwriter for Monsters Inc 2. And I guess that's official now.
I guess Joe Jump will be after 2012? I guess initially I was a little concerned about the lack of WDFA up there, but if this is only the next 2 years, I should just breathe. And was Yellow Submarine supposed to come out later rather than sooner? Not that I mind if it doesn't come out, but I guess I would've expected it on there. And we know about Monsters, Inc. 2 now...
After Winnie the Pooh, there's the unknown Ron 'n John project and Joe Jump for WDFA, right?
I have mixed feeling about Monsters, INC. 2- The original is my favorite Pixar film and I really can't concieve of how they could make a sequel comparable or better than the original...
John Carter of Mars will be great, but we already knew about that.
I can't wait for the Muppet movie, but I think we already knew about that, too.
Of course we already knew about Tangled, but hopefully this means we'll get our fully animated trailer soon.
I'm not excited for Brave yet. Just wait a couple of months before the release though, I bet I'll be ecstatic.
Thor, Captain America, The Avengers- Blah, blah, blah. The best things those movies can do for Disney is make them money.
I believe Prom is the movie that's supposed to be John Hughes-esque. We shall see what developes. I wouldn't rule it off just yet.
The only thing I find interesting about Secretariat is they're using the famous horse's own great-grandson, at least for a bit of the movie.
there are really no words to describe that... thankfully, I seriously don't see the title Gnomeo & Juliet on that photo... it looks like something else.
Also, Miramax is being sold off to Weinstein. And they're the ones producing it. Why would it stay at Disney? I remember reading John Lasseter asking "why the hell are we making this?" back in 2006. So I doubt Disney or Pixar is anywhere near it. I say we should blame Elton John for continuing to shop this piece of shit around. He's never gonna top The Lion King, he needs to let it go.
Why did they fire Dick Cook again. The live-action movie line-up is beyond awful besides Tron 2 and the newest Muppet movie. When a movie about prom called Prom is one of your hit ideas, it's time to find a new direction...again.
