Disneyland Restaurant Recommendations???

Post by Gurgi30 »

I'm going to be going to Disneyland in May for a school function and I'm bringing my 7 year old daughter. It's our first time here though we've been to WDW so we're familiar with the Disney experience. We plan on going on as many rides as possible and I know what we want to see/experience. However I'm not as clear on the restaurants.

Are there any recommendations from those of you that have been there or any places we shouldn't miss?

There probably hasn't been a reply because the restaurant offerings aren't the greatest....

I have always wanted to eat at the Blue Bayou, which overlooks the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. It's on my list of things to do before I die...LOL. I'm not sure how the food is, but the ambience looks amazing.

Other than that, Downtown Disney is right outside DL just steps away. I know there's a Rainforest Cafe there, along with some other cool restaurants. Definitely take her there.

Does she like Princesses? If so, Ariel's Grotto at California Adventure is an option. They just re-did the menu last year, and the dessert platter at the end of the meal is great! The princesses come to your table troughout the meal.

Ask for an outdoor table if the weather is nice. Dining right on the Paradise Bay lagoon is really nice :)
