Help with a DVD with both full and widescreen versions

Post by The_Iceflash »

I got the movie Shorts today on DVD and it contains both the wide screen version and a full screen version. Unfortunately, I can't find when I put in the disc where I choose the version I want. Anyone know about this sort of thing? Help is appreciated.

Maybe it's a flipper disc, with one side being the fullscreen and the other one being the widescreen version?

I thought that too but it's a single-sided disc.

This is the only think I can find on the menu:

-Shorts
-Play Movie
-Scene Selections

Normally with the single-sided fullscreen/widesceen discs, a screen will appear at the start-up, asking you to pick which version you want to watch. :) Other than that, you have me stumped. :?

It wasn't giving me the option before but I checked it again and now it is. It's weird. It went right to the film when I chose play w/o an option before. It's working now though. Thanks.
