I didn't know this ever aired at all. Apparently, it was terrible, from what I can gather online. I'm not shocked, I really never thought the movie itself was funny. Maybe if it had been done in the late 70's, early 80's, but as it was, by the time it came out we had all pretty much heard those jokes already (Jabba the Hutt's named kind of sounds like Pizza Hut, lightsabers are phalluses, Chewbacca looks like a man / dog hybrid, HILARIOUS). Of course, I'm also of the belief that Mel Brooks hasn't done anything funny since "History of the World, Part I".
...though I did think his announcement of bringing "Young Frankenstein" to Broadway was a hilarious joke, until I realized he was quite serious. Horrible idea...

"Ta ta ta taaaa! Look at me... I'm a snowman! I'm gonna go stand on someone's lawn if I don't get something to do around here pretty soon!"
