Early details have emerged on DVD ($28.98) and Blu-ray ($35.99) releases of Orphan which stars Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard. Each will be available to own from the 27th October. The only extra material on the DVD release will be additional scenes and an alternate ending. The Blu-ray release will include those scenes, along with a Mama's Little Devils: Bad Seeds, Evil Kids and Orphan featurette, and a digital copy of the film.

Warner plans to bring the 2009 New Line thriller “Orphan” to Blu-ray Disc in October in time for Halloween

It had been previously rumored but now it’s confirmed in the trade ad (pictured above). Warner officially has plans to bring the 2009 New Line thriller “Orphan” to Blu-ray Disc on October 27th — just in time for “Halloween”. Bonus materials are set to include an alternate ending, additional scenes, a Digital Copy of the film as well as a featurette titled “Mama’s Little Devils: Bad Seeds, Evil Kids and Orphan“. Tech specs will include full 1080p Hi-Def video in VC-1 codec and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound. The title isn’t yet available for pre-order but stay tuned and we will keep you updated.
