I know a few people watch this HBO show based off of Charlaine Harris' best-selling Southern Vampire/Sookie Stackhouse book series.

It stars Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse, a small-town cocktail waitress with telepethic powers. She's always wanted to meet a vampire, and when one finally comes in, Bill Compton, he and Sookie fall in love.

The show just started its second season, its first being a success. The DVD of the first season just came out, too, if any of you want to pick it up, I strongly advise you to do so.

It's a marvelous, although graphic both in the sexual and violent nature, television series, and I highly reccomend everyone watch it.

I don't think it's that violent but, then again, I am pretty desensitized.

I watched the first season a couple of weeks ago, although I'll have to wait until the next DVD set, since I don't have cable...
