I discovered these "Amazon Burn On Demand" DVDs awhile back. At first I was a bit uneasy about these releases. I really would rather the studio release them the usual way for all stores to carry. I mean, would we be getting the same quality of video and audio? The other side of it is, I would hate to buy these and then the studio releases "normal" DVDs for them.

I'm really kinda mad that Nickelodeon doesn't realize themselves that this series is good enough to sell season sets like Spongebob, but this is great news to me none-the-less. Being 14, I grew up on this show and I (still) think it's hilarious and hasn't lost it's touch (like Spongebob has). I'm also glad to hear that Rugrats is getting season sets. With it being a show that was on for 10+ years and got 3 movies, it deserves something.

They did this with Hey Arnold! a while back and the quality is perfect. Rugrats is both timeless and nostalgic at the same time, which is why I can't wait to add it to my collection!

Do they give you the option of burning it yourself? If I'm not mistaken, you place your order, and Amazon burns the discs for you, and then mails them to you. It saves space in their warehouse.
Or do they at least come with a box, and complete artwork? I'm not paying for someone to ship me a DVD-R in a plastic sleeve.

Savages (Uncensored)
If it ain't OTV, it ain't worth anything!

Meh, who cares? As long as it's the original episodes (with titles in red letters, not black letters like when they show came back in '97 and was horrible) then it doesn't really matter.
They use a picture of Splinter from the 2003 TMNT show on one of the discs and cover art of the classic TMNT DVDs
Anyway, I definitely wanna get these, Rugrats was one of my favorite shows growing up!
And I still need to get the Doug and Hey Arnold! DVDs. I want them to make Rocko SEASON sets and AAHHH!!! Real Monsters ones too!!! (AAAHHH!! Real Monsters was always my favorite).

But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.
