Did anyone get hit with thunderstorms yesterday? We got hit with a couple of them. What made me mad is that we lost power twice and both times it happened, I was right in the middle of taking an exam for one of my online classes (Though I did end up completing and passing the exam a while later).

Did anyone get hit with thunderstorms yesterday? We got hit with a couple of them. What made me mad is that we lost power twice and both times it happened, I was right in the middle of taking an exam for one of my online classes (Though I did end up completing and passing the exam a while later).

We had some storms last week, and I remember one particularly bad one last Wednesday. But it's been bright and sunny since Friday, though we're gonna get showers again on Wednesday and for the rest of the week afterwards (ugh).

I love thunderstorms, aside from the power outages - which we rarely ever have. There's just something so soothing of the sound of strong winds, heavy rain, flashes of thunder, and cracks of lightning.

I could have sworn I heard some booming outside. Around 6 P.M. to 7. But I only heard maybe three short noises and then went about my business.

When I was in Orlando the weather was great, but my mom would send me text messages saying how it was storming back at home.

And when I got home, my computer was off and my clocks were flashing after being reset - so the power went out at some point or another (Luckily our generator kicks in after ~20 seconds, though that's still enough to knock out computers)

I used to HATE thunderstorms as a kid, but now I am a little more comfortable around them.
