Since you seem to like the comedies, these Walt originals are great:
The Parent Trap! (original)
The Absent-Minded Professor
Son of Flubber
That Darn Cat! (original)
The Shaggy Dog (original)
Blackbeard's Ghost
(I'd add Sammy, the Way-Out Seal but it's not available)

Some of these are not exactly comedies, but they're still good:
- Darby O'Gill and the Little People
- The Gnome-Mobile
- Babes in Toyland
- Big Red
- The Incredible Journey
- Old Yeller/Savage Sam
- Toby Tyler
- Swiss Family Robinson
- the rest of Herbie movies

Ugly Dauschand is good.

Classic 1950 Treasure Island.

(though when I rented these, I had Disc problems and ended up buying both of them eventually because I never got to watch them fully).

And stick with just the original Parent Trap. The sequel is a TV movie NOT made when Walt was alive.
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

I haven't seen that one in a long time. I remember watching it on the Disney Channel. I do not remember much about it though.
