Buyer Beware! (A Bug's Life at Costco)

Post by swray1024 »

Just in case any of you are looking at going to Costco for the 'new' Collector's Edition of A Bug's Life....It is priced at $12.49, but there is no slip cover on it. But everything else appears to be the same on the disc...

Just FYI....

This is normal. After the first month or so of their release, Sleeping Beauty, Pirates of the Caribbean, Finding Nemo all had no slip covers.

The slipcovers are just a promo tool to get people to buy it in the first few weeks, I think.

Hmmm..I may have to go back and see if they have any others with the cover then. All I saw were ones without it though.

cool deal. It just depends on how many copies are distributed at the store, and how many people actually buy them...

One more thins swray: Don't feel left out if you can't find one with a slip cover. There was nothing special about it - it didn't open up like TLK's or BATB's, and it has the same shiney effect that the amary case has without the slipcover.

 Sometimes they have the Slip Sleeve and sometimes they do not. I think that they should have all of them in Slip Covers. But I dought that will ever happen

Thanks guys. I do feel kinda ticked that since that was what I went to get it for. I thought it was just a slip on thing, kinda like Nemo had....(if i recall)...but at least I have the DVDs.

Just kinda feel schnookered by Disney is all...Someone who could care less should have gotten this one, and someone like me who is an avid collector should have been able to get it...(or I guess my own fault for not being able to tell the difference before I purchased it). Was tough since it come wrapped in a box.

Eh, don't feel bad swray. Maybe someone could give you their slip cover? Perhaps? Maybe? ( don't ask me, mine didn't have one either)
Dragon, not lizard. I don't do that tongue thing.

Lilo: I'm not touching you!
Stitch: TOUCHING ME!
