Please Send Prayers To My Cousin

She just had her baby boy two nights ago and he is premature (supposed to have been born in May). As far as I know he is doing ok, but would appreciate any prayers you send his way and towards my cousin. They've had his name picked out for a while now, and it's rather ironic since his name is Chance. Hopefully he does have one.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers

From what I hear things are going well, supposedly he will be in the hospital until April. They (from what I last heard) have him wrapped in Saran and his lungs aren't fully developed. Today my cousin got to spend the day/some time with him.

The last I heard from yesteray he turned one week old

We've been counting down the days until April when supposedly he will be able to leave the hospital.

I'll be sure to pray for your cousin and that they get better soon, Chernabog.

My mom works as a NICU nurse, so I myself have seen a lot of premature babies that she works with there in the nursery, everything from premature babies to ones that are having withdraws due to the mothers taking drugs during pregnancy. I can't speak for the particular hospital, but I know from my mom's experience, the nurses there probably care as much for your cousin as if he were their own.

Today he went though heart surgery, I'm not sure why he had to and rather amazed he could go through that. He's doing good and it went well last I heard

Another update. My cousin got to hold her baby yesterday, or the day before for the first time. Also I've heard that he's starting to get little wisps of hair now on his head

Another update: He's now off of his IV's and is eating every couple hours a full meal.
