Strong Female Leads

Post by amazon980 »

Im tryin to make a story. Its about amazons and i wana know who are some of your fave Female leads, heros real or fake.
what do you look for in strong female leads
this is research about what people expect to see when the lead is a female.

I personaly think its harder to create a female lead. Because its one thing to be strong and not take crap from any one and walk in to room and just know your strong person. Like Spider Man Iron Man those types can be as strong . But when girl needs to be that she also has to be fem
she has to be strong feared and smart but also shes a woman and needs to be sexy and a touch of feminity. Where the male dosent need the fem
part. i think it for a female it's like ying and yang masculine and fem cant have just one need both. Like catwoman movie was to fem she worked in make-up and catwoman is supposed to be Batmans Equal.

SORRY FOR BAD GRAMMER :(

That's cause that Catwoman sucked (The Halle Berry movie, not the character). If you want a better one, look at Michelle Pfeiffer in 'Batman Returns'.

Esmeralda from Hunchback comes to mind.
Poison Ivy is very Amazonish. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a good tough, but feminine lead.

I agree on Buffy :) Of course Cordelia is also a bit of a strong lead in her own way.

Also one word: Xena :P
