An apology

Post by pap64 »

Hey, its been a while since I last posted here. I want to apologize for two things...

The first is not so important but I think you my friends should know. I haven't been posting much as of late because...

1. I returned to my old forums and reunited with some friends. While there are still some hints of annoying negativity and angst its a much better place for discussion now.

2. Animal Crossing City Folk has CONSUMED my life. Seriously, I never expected the game to completely enthrall me, especially since I was so disgusted by it when it was first unveiled.

The second reason why I am apologizing is because of my rude behavior last night. I didn't do much because I held back but in case anyone saw it and wondered why the attitude its because last night I was on a really cynical mood.

I have a lot of family related and employment issues right now, as some of you may have. It doesn't help that our church doesn't see our family as nothing more than employees. So when this keeps piling up I get really cynical, and frankly I would stay off the interwebs.

Its just that sometimes I stumble onto discussions and topics in which people complain about the stupidest thing, and this just annoys me. I know the internet is made up of angsty people who have nothing better to talk about other than stupid stuff, but even then it still bugs me how certain people value one thing over the other.

So again, my apologies for my rude behavior.

I haven't seen it, but I'm pretty sure you don't have to apologize Pap, everyone no matter how nice they are have to have bad days sometimes.

Hey pap! Apology accepted even though I didn't see the posts in question! We all have our bitchy moments!

No te preocupes, amigo! :)

I noticed that one of your posts sounded different than normal, but I just figured that you were having a bad day or something.

I think that it's nice of you to aplogize (or at least clarify), and I can't imagine anyone holding a grudge against you or anything! :)

Like I said, I actually held back A LOT because I realized that I would be upsetting a lot of people.

Funny enough, I unloaded most of my cynicism on another site simply because I could easily get away with it being "dark humor". Plus, angry trolling is usually laughed at, so I could get away with my angst and still say it was a joke.
