"Reach Out" was produced by Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and co-written by Tedder, Evan Bogart and Mika Guillory. The song features a sample from Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus". The album version of "Reach Out" had its audio premiere via Duff's official YouTube channel on October 3, 2008.
Why resort to a download day?
Hollywood Records removed Hilary's latest album, "The Best Of" from iTunes on November 11th, the day of release. Making "Reach Out" and "Holiday" ineligible to debut on Billboard's Hot 100. The album has just returned on December 18th, with both songs available to purchase separately. The problem being, that the song and any hype that Hilary had garnered for it, had passed.
In order to give Hilary, her 6th charting single on the Hot 100, Hilary fans must unite to download the track on January 6th.
So please spread the word, purchase the song and give Hilary a hit!
