Possibly the most important doc ever made
Yes, you read that title correctly. This could possibly be the most important documentary ever made. More info here:

I had never heard of this before, but isn't it obvious that the Whopper will win? Would Burger King even be advertising this if the Big Mac had won the taste tests? I love me some McDonald's, so by my bias default, I'd choose the Big Mac if I were asked, but still...I'm just thinking that I know the outcome already.
Will the actual documentary be shown on that website, or will just the results be shown?

Same here I'd rather eat an In-N-Out burger then a whopper or big-mac any day. Except I'd have to stop at McDonalds for a 42 Oz. Dr.Pepper since there only a buck. But since In-N-Out only resides in California, Vegas and Arizona...I pick...the whopper.

I guess it's a regional thing, since Five Guys is only on the East Coast (well, as far as I know).

We on the East Coast don't have Carl's Jr. We call them "Hardees". It's weird. I'm also a Five Guys fan, except once when we went there my mom had a piece of bone in her burger, which I guess is both sick and reassuring at the same time.
Given the choice between the two, I pick Burger King. Apart from some of their chicken, there's nothing there I like. I'll take the Whopper over the Big Mac any day of the week.
No love for Wendy's, though?

I actually grew up in the midwest with Hardee's, Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger King, etc. I rarely get McDonald's (when I do it's breakfast) and literally haven't had Burger King in years (and it can stay that way).
I'm relatively new to being out west so Carl's Jr., Jack in the Box, In-N-Out, and Sonic were a novelty to me for a short time. I've never even heard of Five Guys, but then again I've never been further east than Indiana.
If I really want a hamburger and it's gotta be fast food, I prefer Wendy's.

Here in Kansas - Spangles is the king of the burgers. They outsell McDonald's and Burger King combined, and it has been verfied that the 'true' burger KING in Kansas is SPANGLES.
A 1/3 pound gourmet hamburger with regular fries and medium drink for $2.99. You can't be the price, and for sure you can't beat the burger.
I have had "Five Guys", and "In-N-Out", and preferred "In-N-Out" over "Five Guys" until I moved to Kansas and had a Spangles burger. Now there is no contest.

It is!!! Great production and advertisement idea!!!Maerj wrote:Less than ten minutes now, guys! Will they pick the Whopper or Big Mac? I know I would pick the Whopper because flame broiling is just better. In just a few minutes we will see what these Whopper Virgins like better...
EDIT/UPDATE:
Well, the doc is NOT at their website! Guess it'll be on tv?

Its a great advertisement idea, but how much of a real documentary is it? If it was a real documentary I doubt everyone they met would have said Burger King had the best burgers. Not to mention, what they are feeding those people are the same ones you see in the commercial. A big, thick, juicy hamburger patty with lots of fresh lettuce and tomatoes, in between two fluffy sesame seed buns.
Like this...

But if those people came to America and ordered from a Burger King, this is what they get

One slimy piece of iceburg lettuce, but even the green part...an old tomato slice, a tiny crusty patty, and a cheap flat bun with a few sesame seeds.
Sure...the advertisement campaign is genius. But its just more marketing hype....and lies.

But did you actually watch it? The first people to react did say they liked the Big Mac better. Of course the majority did say the Whopper but not all of them did. The last guy said he liked seal meat better than the hamburger.Siren wrote:Its a great advertisement idea, but how much of a real documentary is it? Also the burgers that were served did look more like the real burgers rather than the pretty fake burger that you have pictured. Watch the doc at whoppervirgins.com and see for yourself.
Anyway, what a great video. I would like to know what some of the local dishes were that they fed to the camera crew, some of that stuff looked really good! Hey Burger King, serve some of that stuff in your restaurants!

And you think this is the most important documentary ever made? Please tell me you were being sarcastic. If you want to see an actual life changing documentary try "The Dying Room" or "Off The Chain".
To think Burger King put all that money into make a pseudo-documentary about "burger virgins". I rather have the clown who helps sick kids and their families. http://www.rmhc.com/
