Some of those "25 Days of Christmas" movies aren't even Christmas movies! As much as I like Mary Poppins, Cars, and The Incredibles, they're just not Christmas movies! Surely they could have added more Christmas-themed movies to their schedule.

Thanks for posting, though, Dan!

Since this has been brought up... Is there an official UD thread for Holiday movies/specials?

A Garfield Christmas!!! Oh my gosh, I haven't seen this on TV in years! I watched it on YouTube a couple years ago and it's even better now than it was when I was a kid. I will most definitely be watching.

And Aladdin on regular TV? There's something you don't see everyday...

I counted and there are about twenty movies and specials on this list that have nothing to do with Christmas

A Boy Named Charlie Brown
Aladdin
Cars
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
The Chronicles of Narnia
Curious George
Dr Seuss on the Loose
Dr Seuss' The Cat in the Hat
Dr Seuss' The Hoober-Bloog Highway
Dr Seuss' The Lorax
Garfield
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
The Incredibles
Mary Poppins
The Notebook
Snoopy Come Home
Snow Dogs

This makes me wonder if this list is real. If it is, this may be one of the best marathons ABC Family has had in a long time.

"25 Days of Christmas":

12/8 7pm 'Twas the Night Before Christmas

12/9 7pm A Garfield Christmas

12/10 7pm Mickey's Christmas Carol

12/14 6pm Snow
12/15 8pm Snow 2: Brain Freeze
I'll be sure to catch all these. Especially Sons of Mistletoe (which isn't on DVD and is a nice feelgood tv movie) and Snow (which is on DVD, so I'll likely pick it up at Wal-Mart to watch again and again. And I'm excited for Snow 2: Brain Freeze.

Too bad ABC Family isn't showing Santa Who? or The Christmas Wish.

Ugh - Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat is bad any time of year. To play it around Christmas - That's evil. :headshake:

Cheers, I guess,

YES! i love 25 Days of Christmas!!

Looks like a great line up.. And i realize that some of them arent technically Christmas movies but i think the idea is that you can watch them with the whole family since being with your family is the most important part of christmas...

I am definitely gonna be watching The Notebook next Sunday and will most likely cry for probably the 10th time....

Aladdin was just on Disney Channel a week or two ago, too.
It was shown on CBC too last month. Letterboxed as well.

The Black Cauldron on TV? Now THAT would be special

I'm not sure- I've never watched it on Toon Disney- I just know that it's been on there and that it's been edited. I just tried looking for more information on what was edited, but I couldn't find any...

Narnia does have Father Christmas in it so there's your Christmas connection. :)

Wow! Awesome list! :D Man, ABC Family X-Mas listings is getting better and better each year, though I'm kinda mistaken that some films are not even representing Christmas, especially the atrocious live-action Cat in the Hat movie. This makes me want to keep an eye on next week, which is Thanksgiving week.
