You know, I'm all for retro packs. I really am. But for once in a while, can't they just release something new?
I mean, I have Sonic Jam for the Saturn, Sonic Mega Collection Plus, Sonic Gems for sonic games. Not to mention various releases of sonic games on titles such as Sega Smash Pack, Sega Genesis Collection, XBox Live Arcade and the Wii's Virtual console.
Do we really need another sonic pack? There's still some excellent titles for Taito and Capcom to release to continue their PS2 compliations, and Sega has loads of arcade gems virtually unreleased (I'd love a copy of Power Drift!)
Still, I'm still mad enough to have ordered Namco Museum: Virtual Arcade for the 360, which although it boasts the same old "classics" (Pac Man, Pole Position, Dig Dug etc) hopefully has a few extra titles in there - the press release promises over 30.
But what we really want is a decent Konami compliation from the mid-80s to the mid-90s...

Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
I know this isn't about Sonic as such but

Oh my. Are Namco sodding stupid? Another Namco Museam with the same games (more or less). I could go back to playing my PSOne Museums on my PS3.
Tits.
Do something NEW for once Namco! How about putting some Tekken's on there? Or a Ridge Racer? Alpine Ski? Something NEW! (and by the way, the lack of Pac-Land is a shocking omission too - thank God its on the PSOne Museums)
At least I've cancelled my pre-order. I'll pick this up in 6 months or so for the arrange versions when it likely to be on sale in the bargain bins for less than a tenner.
Oh and in a way it is about the new Sonic collection, because Sega are doing the same thing - endlessly re-releasing the same games in each compilation.

Only the US called the Genesis the Genesis - in Japan and everywhere else in the world it was called the Megadrive.
It's a good list of titles, but most were on this PS2 release (28 titles plus a few unlockables):
