Beyonce Knowles- 3rd Studio Album "I Am..."- Novem
Beyonce Knowles is preparing to release her third studio album, titled "I Am..." on the November 18th, including the two new singles, "If I Were A Boy", and "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)". She has recorded over 70 songs for it, so perhaps a double disc is in order for it....

Re: Beyonce Knowles- 3rd Studio Album "I Am..."- N
I doubt it will be a double album, because not every song an artist records for an album is used right away. If you figure she uses anywhere from 11 - 16 songs for the album (including the bonus tracks released to various retailers and non-US countries), then uses some of the songs that were leftover as B-Sides to the singles she releases, then saves another batch of songs for that inevitable Deluxe Edition (that will be released whoknowshowmany months after the inital album release
) - providing there is one - and then maybe uses the further leftover tracks for a future album, you're probably at about 70 tracks right there.
I'm excited for this release, I really loved B'Day, and I hope this new album will be just as good, if not better.

Beyoncé plans on releasing her newest single, “If I Were a Boy,” in Spanish. She recorded the vocals earlier this week and the re-recorded version should hit radio next week, according to her father/manager Mathew Knowles. A re-release of her new album I Am… with tracks recorded in Spanish will follow in February 2009. It will include a collaboration with an undisclosed Latin artist.
If that wasn’t enough, Beyoncé will release a video for every song on her new album. She previously did this with 2007’s B’Day: The Deluxe Edition. The I Am… video anthology will also arrive in February.

Well then I'm not even going to bother with this version, I'll wait for February haha. Are you sure that its true verified info? Im sure they would release it, but why tell the public? That means the album will do worse, coz people will wait for the better version with vids and stuff.....
I reckon the artist will be JLo.....she has a greatest hits coming out in that time frame, so it makes sense for them to release a few songs now, and then do a Beautiful Liar on us again... and promote both artists new work...

Rap-Up.com attended an exclusive press listening for Beyoncé’s third album I Am… last week at CineSpace in Los Angeles where Mathew Knowles played the double-disc LP and hinted at the follow-up singles to “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).”
On the Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) and Beyoncé-produced second pop single “Halo,” the 27-year-old sings about her knight in shining armor (Hov?): “Baby I can see your halo / You know you’re my saving grace / You’re everything I need and more / It’s written all over your face.”
The ballad features heavy drums, claps, piano, and strong vocals from B. “Halo” was written by Beyoncé, Tedder, and E. Kidd Bogart. The entire first disc, I Am… Beyoncé, contains acoustic ballads in the same vein as “Halo.”
While pop radio will be serviced with “Halo,” urban radio will get “Ego.” Beyoncé kicks it old school on the uptempo throwback R&B jam off I Am… Sasha Fierce produced and written by the singer, Elvis “BlacElvis” Williams, and Harold Lilly (Alicia Keys’ “You Don’t Know My Name”). Loud trumpets and organs infiltrate the funky track, which was a favorite among the media present.
The hook goes something like this: “You got a big ego, such a huge ego / I love his big ego / It’s too big, it’s too wide, it’s too strong, it won’t fit, it’s too much / He walk like this because he can back it up.”
B even shows her cocky side: “I talk like this because I can back it up / I got a big ego.”
Mathew disclosed that they reached out to Kanye West about appearing on “Ego,” but he wasn’t available at the time. However, a remix is not out of the question.

Beyonce's "I Am....Sasha Fierce" has leaked as 30 second clips. Beyonce's definitely taken chances with this album and has gone for a different sound compared to her usual material. I'm indifferent at the moment as to whether I really like the album or not yet. Hopefully when I get the actual album on November 17th it will grow on me. I LOVE "If I Were A Boy" though!
By the way, I don't know whether some of you have heard the song "Beautiful Nightmare" that got leaked back in march...? Well, it will be on the new album, only it's now titled "Sweet Dreams". I like this track, I've had it for a while now.

hey everyone, long time since posting here, since then Beyonce has released Diva and Halo, along with Ego and Sweet Dreams, alongside the CD/DVD release of Above and Beyonce.
Just wondering, since she has released Above and Beyonce, is she still going ahead with a full anthology of I Am Sasha Fierce? Im unsure whether she'll be able to do videos for all the songs on the album, so maybe this is the best we're going to get? Does anyone know anything more on this?
