I'm from Portugal and as far as I know, there are 4 disney classics that never got edited in here in DVD. They are Make Mine Music, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad, The Black Cauldron and The Great Mouse Detective.
I know this happens in Brazil too with MAoWinnie The Pooh and Pocahontas, I was wondering if in other European countries too.
Missing Classics Outside US
Well, the main distributor for this region (Bosnia/Croatia/Slovenia/Serbia/Montenegro) got into this business just 9 years ago, and none of Disney's animated films were officially available on home video before 1999. So we basically missed all original home video releases. However, there have been bootleg copies available even before 1999.
As of October 2008, Animated Classics that have yet to be released here are:
- Fantasia
- Fantasia 2000
- The Three Caballeros
- Make Mine Music
- Melody Time
- The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad ("Sleepy Hollow" segment is available on one of the "Disney Fables" DVDs)
- Sleeping Beauty (it's going to be released next month)
- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
- The Rescuers
- The Rescuers Down Under
- The Black Cauldron
- The Great Mouse Detective
