I don't know if this is already posted or anything, but are they ever going to release anymore Disney Channel Original Movies onto DVD? I would really like Pixel Perfect. Thank you if you can help.

"Miracle In Lane 2" is being released on DVD on May 4th, but I already own it on VHS. "Kim Possible: A Stich in Time" comes out March 16th. Disney seems like they want to get as much air time for their movies before releasing them into the home video market. A few years back, Disney released several of their Disney Channel movies on VHS. Most of the titles where more than a year old, with the exception of "Double Team," wich premeired only 1 month before it's VHS release. I own all of the Disney Channel movies that got a wide release, but they were hard to find. I eventually had to have my parents order the first wave through Amazon.com for me. Wal-Mart then carried the second wave. Disney also released some of them exclusively for rent, and I've been able to get a few of them previousley viewed at Blockbuster. I think that if Disney does a wave of their Disney Channel movies anytime soon, It'll probably include the two "Zenon" movies, (but they might wait to release a three pack because "Zenon: Zee 3" is almost done with post production, but dosen't yet have an air date.) "Cadet Kelly," and "The Cheetah Girls," (again, Disney might hold out because they are planning a sequel). I personally would like to see "Get A Clue" out on DVD, and it is likely due to the success of Lindsay Lohan ("Freaky Friday," and starring in Disney's next teen comedy, "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.").

Disney made for tv movies
I saw Pixel Perfect last night on the Disney CHannel and I loved it. It is one of the best Made for tv movies that Disney has done. I really hope that they put it out on DVD. Does anyone know where I can get SmartHouse I know that it came on VHS but It is pretty hard to find. I also would love to see Even Stevens Movie. I am a big fan of Even Stevens even though I am quite old for it it still strikes me as funny. I mean who can beat the duo of Louis and Twitty. Another really good one was made in the 80's you probablly remember it "BRAT PATROL" that was a great movie. I don't see why DIsney didn't release it I mean they did Gone Are The Dayes, Tiger Town, Black Arrow. Why not "BRAT PATROL" I guess Disney had their reason for not releasing it but I have no clue what there reason was.

Disney Guru,
"Smart House" was one of the films only released on VHS for rent, and is one of the few that I am still trying to track down. Since it's one of the more popular of the Disney Channel movies, people keep renting it so video stores have no reason to sell their copies. I wish Disney would realize this and re-release it, but on DVD. I also loved "The Even Stevens Movie" and would love to see a DVD release in the near future. Don't feel ashamed to like Disney Channel programs, no matter how old you are, because most of their programming, while targeted towards kids, has something for every member of the family to enjoy. And I feel that if "The Famous Jett Jackson: The Movie" and "Kim Possible: A Stitch In Time" have been/ are beeing released on home video, then why not "Even Stevens?" I also saw "Pixel Perfect," but being a very musical person, I was so distracted by the terrible lip sinking and bad dancing, that I was unable to enjoy it. I'll give it another shot, though.

Your kind words really made my day. THe only reason why i put on that embarrassed smily face on my thing was because I have been told a lot lately that I am getting to old to like Disney Channel and so forth. So I thought that was everybodys opinion on the matter. Thank you for the support. But I have really been looking for smart house. Hopefully it gets released soon. It was one of the best ones ever made.

Thanks for the link, Disney Guru. I would buy it if it wasn't almost $20.00. The description makes it sound like a great copy. I'll just have to wait for my local Blockbuster to sell it. Or I could be sneaky and do what I did with "Toby Tyler." I rented it and told them I lost it and it only cost about $3.00. They wouldn't give me the box, but at least I own the movie. He He He!

I've never even heard of it. I was born in 1985, and you said in an earlier post that it is from the 80's. My parents had taped some of Disney Channel's 80's movies, so I know I've seen a lot of them at one point, but the title dosen't ring any bells. If it ever comes out, though, I'll be sure to check it out.

Is Brat Patrol a DC Original Movie or just a movie that was on Disney Channel?Disney Guru wrote:Why Goofy Stitch I didn't know that you were that kind of person. But that is a good idea to wait till it is released on DVD. But it is nice that you were able to get a copy of Toby Tyler anyway. THat is a great movie. I have always loved it. Do you know anything about "BRAT PATROL" that has always been one of my favorite Disney's.
