Which Disney song would you sing in public?
Which Disney song would you sing in public?
Or for those that have already accomplished the feat, which Disney song did you sing?
Since we all call ourselves Disney fans we are more than likely to appreciate the music in the Disney films. And if we appreciate the music, we likely sing it on a daily basis.
So, which Disney song would you sing in public? It can be from ANY Disney production. Everything from Silly Symphonies to High School Musical counts.
If I had a wife/girlfriend I would definitely sing "A whole new world". I would murder it, but its such a great song that I would love to sing it with my own princess :3 .

I sing "Let Me Be Good To You" in the shower practically every day, and my neighbors can probably hear me, so that's almost in public, right?

I sing a lot of HSM songs in the shower, too, so those can be my answer, too. And the reprise of "Belle". And "Home" from the B&tB Broadway show. And I think "Oo-De-Lally". Definitely "Little Patch of Heaven". "It's Not Easy", "Brazzle Dazzle Day", and "There's Room For Everyone", I think, too. I'm basically listing the songs I sing the most often at home. And "God Help the Outcasts"- I can't forget about that one- that's the Disney song that I probably sing the most often around the house. And "Why Should I Worry" and probably "Someday". And "On My Way".
There's lots of others I'd probably sing, too, if I actually sang in front of people!
I have stagefright.

There is no song I wouldn't sing in public... ALL I do is sing! lol. Literally, ALL DAY LONG! My friends have pretty much said I'm like a drive-by juke box.

"Hip hop frightens you, doesn't it....Hmmm...Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate. Hate leads to endlessly posting threads about stupid white people. Hmmmmm....."

I love randomly signing anything in public! My sister calls it being a RASer or RADer (Random Acts of Singing/Dancing). In high school, we sang Motown at the lunch table and when the bell rang, my one friend Jess would be the last packing up her stuff, so I'd whip out "the Work Song" and sing "Hurry, hurry, hurry, got to help our Jessirelly!"
Last December, I had just seen Enchanted in the theaters one Saturday afternoon and that night, I was walking home from a party with friends and we were singing "True Love's Kiss" at the top of our lungs. I remember later when we had settled down, we were gossiping about people and I blurted out, "But lips are the only things that touch!"
"A Whole New World" is always a favorite for karaoke. On my 21st birthday, I made everyone at our table sing it. Of course, only the girls did since they actually knew the words.

I spent my 30th birthday at Walt Disney World with my wife (just my girlfriend at the time) and a couple friends. We were there for five days, I think....on the day of the actual occasion, we went to Epcot for a while, then headed out the back gate to the Boardwalk. Spent about two hours at the Big River brewpub, then hauled back to the front gate. Our resort bus took about half an hour to arrive, and my buddy's girlfriend (bedecked in a oversized Mad Hayer chapeau) and I sang every Disney song that popped into my head while we waited---including "The Spectrum Song."
Most of the parents around us looked disapproving. Some looked envious. I'm giving those looks, now...
It wasn't pretty, but it was fun.

Everyone knows the lyrics to Under the Sea but they never say the "introducing parts" which Sebastian says before he breaks into song, nor can they make it authentic by adding an accent. So I start with "Ah-ree-el, listen to me..." with a Jamaican accent which makes singing with me so much better than with others!

If I do, I will have it video taped. I am going to try and figure out a way to do it for charity. The Halloween ball is held by the local Humane Society. So perhaps I can get some people to donate money to "pay" me to do itxxhplinkxx wrote:Woo!! Go, Crystal! I love to sing any song in public, whether it's Disney, a Mozart Aria or a Beatles song!
Just when riding my bike for instance.
I've had singing lessons for years and on one of my performances I sang "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid.
Fairly recently I've purchase a book with sheet music of Disney songs for high voices. Great, now I can sing songs like "Beauty and the Beast" and "Colors of the Wind" because they are in the right key for me, while the originals setting is to low.
There's also a book for low voices, in case you are interested.

It's more like what HAVEN"T I sang in public
Although I do it with friends a few times more than solo.
I once grabbed my friend and we burst into A Whole New World in the book aisle at Save On Foods. Such a good time that was, especially when the people in the aisle stopped to stare. Then of course the time we sang and danced to Tale As Old As Time in the middle of the Pier, the Fishermens wives looked like they enjoyed it, the people fishing not so much
Of course my favorite was when myself, and my friend burst into We're All In This Together (including the dance) while waiting outside the bank. The people we were with tried to sneak away and act like they didn't know us
