lets see, in 68 I would have been 5 months old, I only know one of those songs off the top of my head and that would be the stones

in 78 I was 10, not into the Disco scene and would say the Bob Segar song would be in my top 200 songs of all time,

in 88 I was 20, 2 years out of High School and into the Rock Scene, I saw Def Leppard twice on the tour they did back then in the round, One of the best shows ever, I also saw Poison on their tour the next year with David Lee Roth and Extreme. And at Six Flags I saw Cheap Trick that summer too. I was living in Atlanta.
I also liked Bruce Hornsby, Richard Marx, and INXS

I know most of the songs for 58...some classics and one of my least favorite Elvis sings of all time.

68, I know the Stones and that's it.

78 is pretty weak...lots of crappy Saturday Night Fever disco crap and Seger.

88 is well, 80s crap pretty much. Not the best MJ track, but I think every song on Thriller hit the top 10 at one point or another. Marx is 80s cheese, but damned if I don't like the song. The Poison and Def Leppard tracks are pretty much guilty pleasures as well.

I loved the '70s chart...5 of the 10 are on my IPod. The '60s...as I've gotten older I can appreciate songs like This Guy's In Love With You, Grazing In The Grass & The Look Of Love. The '50s ...just some memorable pop music & great novelty songs. By 1988 I had pretty much given up listening to the radio and was instead focusing on my great love of dance music (which had gone back into the clubs from mainstream airplay) and theater music. I'm really only familiar with Mercedes Boy.
