Seems like a tribute to Walt, liking that design!
Should be good, my favorite though up till now is the birds short alongside Monsters Inc, they should get their own movie :D

I love "For the Birds", that is Pixar's funniest short!

I really need to get Pixar's collection of shorts on DVD. Unlike their major films, I've yet to see a short by them I haven't liked. And these two don't seem to be any different.

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ "Elizabeth Taylor"
Katy Perry ~ "bandaid"

Why is everybody writing about Glago's Quest? According to Animated news, the proper title is Glago's Guest

Glago's Guest

Chris Williams said he was sketching Roman statues. He said he liked their foreheads, noses, and eyebrows. Well, it looks like he liked their beards, too. Glago is Russian, not Roman. Now he looks like a god. They designed him wrong. Yes. Wrong.

I can't believe I'm about to say this (I'm going to whip my self severely later), but why hasn't Lasseter stuck his oar in? I though Lassie wanted all WDFA productions to be preceded by a short!

STOP FANNYING AROUND BUYING HAWAIIAAN SHIRTS AND DO YOUR JOB, LASSIE!

Why make those shorts if the main audience cannot watch them in the normal way?

Why did 'Destino' for instance nog get a showing in the regular cinemas?

It did, it played before Calendar Girls, not exactly a huge audience though.

But yes, "Lorenzo", "One By One", "The Little Match Girl", "John Henry" pretty much every Disney short for the last 10 years (except "How to Hook Your Home Theatre" has been either not given a wide release or none at all.

What a waste.

Although as of yet it does not say "Glasgo's Guest" will not be shown, it just won't be shown with "Bolt". It'll probably end up being put up before another live action film.

I'm hoping at least they'll present some short or other with "Bolt" like they did with "Meet the Robinsons" although it may be too late in the day for that now. They could use "Melody" if they wish to accompany the 3D version.

Didn't Lorenzo play before Raising Helen?

It might have done. All I know is that it played before Calendar Girls somewhere or other because I remember listening to someone whine about having to pay to see a British movie about a load of old women just to see it.
