Hi, does anybody know if any Reese's products are suitable for vegetarians? I can't find any info on the hersheys site or through simple searches. All I've discovered is that the Puffs are vegan and the pieces are not ok.
I would be very grateful if anybody can help with this.
Thank you.
Are any Reese's products vegetarian?

Do you mean vegan or just "normal" vegatarian? Because, if it is vegetarian then all of the Reese's products are okay, as there is no meat in them.
If it is vegan that you mean which means you wouldn't eat any animal products (eggs, milk...) then any of the Reese's products wouldn't be for you as there is milk in them and milk is a product made by animals so it's not vegan.
Maybe we could help you a little better if you decribed to us what you do eat and what not.

I'm an ovo lacto so I eat dairy but no meat or fish. I wanted to know about fats mainly in the products, animal or vegetable. If its animal fat then its not suitable.
I think the Reese's here in the UK are made in Canada but there's no vegetarian info on the package.
I'm interested in cups, sticks, miniatures, whip, nutrageous mainly as they're the easiest to locate.

Email or write a letter to the company and ask them.
I remember as a kid, in social studies class we had to write letters to a company. I got Mars Food Company, which makes stuff like M&Ms. At the time, I had this book that said M&Ms shell was actually made from beetles. So I asked the company and they sent me a letter back explaining the shell is made from sugar, corn syrup, and dyes (among some other ingredients) and not made with beetles. But they did say because chocolate in general comes from dense jungles, that there is actually tidbits of insects in every single piece of chocolate. The FDA knows and its allowed since the stuff is so processed, you'd never see it. Coffee also had parts of bugs. Most of our food we consume does. Bread and other grains too. There is simply no way to keep it from happening. They also sent me a ton of coupons, stickers, toys, all kinds of M&M crap...The other kids were jealous
BTW, the next addition of that book a year later, did not mention the M&M/beetle thing...so I assume they got a letter from Mars' lawyer.
The book was something like 1001 Things Kids Can Do To Help The Earth...and the M&M thing was in a chapter about going veg.
BTW, in case you don't believe me about bugs in chocolate...
