Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

Post by JohnnyWeir »

The first Home Alone has a great DVD release in the stupidly named "Family Fun Edition". Does anybody know anything about a possible "Family Fun Edition" for Home Alone 2?

Eh, I doubt it. I assume the studio doesn't think the interest is there. Plus, I mean, it wasn't very well received. I doubt they'd invest the money into doing it.

Probably not. I don't really care much as Home Alone 2 is inferior to the first film.

Are you all serious??? I always say how Home Alone 2 is BIGGER and BETTER than the 1st, one of the rare sequals... Also most people who like the 1st one like the 2nd.

I did not like it much because it was too much of a rehash of the first film. I'll admit that there were some good scenes, but I liked the first one a little better. Some of the traps were a little brutal in the second film.

You didn't see a Blu-ray disc ever coming?

Sweet! I hope it's getting remastered a la the Home Alone: Family Fun Edition and not just being slapped onto Blu-ray in its current state.

That cover kind of looks like a bad photoshop job.

well....I was just trying to find out if there was a new release planned for this to go along with the Blu Ray so I just typed in Home Alone blu and found that apparently this is in the section of an Amazon.com Exclusive...whether or not this is true or not is yet to be unseen..i'll keep digging on amazon maybe I can see if there is a regular release listed on amazon for DVD..
