I love Julie Andrews, and I would like to know what everyone's favorite movie is of hers.

How appropriate you skipped over the film in which she went topless. :P

But I'd probably go with Poppins.

I can't be a perfect indicator of her best, as I've only seen: Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, The Princess Diaries and Shrek (which hardly counts). Because I think The Sound of Music simply drags as a film, Mary Poppins gets my vote.

The Americanization of Emily

Also, I really really loved her performance with Christopher Plummer in the live 2001 production of On Golden Pond for CBS. I really wish I taped it, since it hasn't been rerun since and is not on DVD...

I've fallen in love with Hawaii, but I also enjoy The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. I think I'll vote for Mary Poppins.

I love Victor/Victoria and Mary Poppins but nothing tops The Sound of Music in my book!

I cannot say that I've seen all the Julie Andrews films listed here.

Mary Poppins is my favourite with The Sound of Music a close second. (hard decision)
