Look Who's Talking Aspect Ratio Question...

Post by Matt »

is the Aspect Ratio Fullscreen or Widescreen?
I saw this at my local BJ's Whole Sale Club store for 10 bucks, but it said that the movie is fullscreen. Is it in Widescreen and where can I buy that version of the film? :?

Amazon has it for Widescreen but its the same one I saw that said fullscreen

The original DVD was a flipper with widescreen and fullscreen, but recent releases have been fullscreen only.

Sony's been doing this for several years now (taking old flipper titles that Columbia/TriStar produced and re-releasing it with Sony branding as either widescreen-only or fullscreen-only. And they favor the latter). It pisses me off, as I can't find the original flippers for About Last Night... or The Cheap Detective anywhere and have had to settle for their fullscreen-only versions.

Your best bet is to check other stores that may still have the flipper in stock. I know that sometimes my Wal-Mart will restock on the title in their $5 dump bin and it'll be a mix of the flipper or the newer fullscreen-only version. I've never bought it, though, mainly because it's not a movie I really want to add to my collection. Look Who's Talking Now, on the other hand... :P But that one has only gotten a fullscreen-only release...harrumph! :x
