Future Disney shows or Movies.

Post by Ansem04 »

What future Disney show or movie you like to see in 2004 and the comming years? Mine would be a Kingdom Hearts cartoon and a movie, somewhat like Who Framed Roger Rabbit? where human actors and cartoon characters work together. I found out that on Ansemreport.com there is a Kingdom Hearts show in the works right now and probably will come out in this fall's new season of shows. Well, talk to everyone later.

You like read my mind. I would absolutely adore Disney if they made either a tv show or movie of Kingdom Hearts. I have 3 good reasons for them to make it.
1. They seem to always want to reuse their most popular characters over and over again(hintsequelshint). So they could make Kingdom Hearts and use almost every property they've ever made over again.
2. Disney also seems to be wanting to make more dark overtones for their movies(Hunchback of Notre Dame & Atlantis) so why not make KH. It has a dark tone, even though you won't realize it until late into the story.
and 3. There are so many fans of KH that it would be bound to make itself a hit. I would buy it and see it in theatres.

So, i really want a KH show or sequel, what about the rest of you?

If not a Kindgom Hearts project, I would like to see a feature length movie where all the Disney classic characters interact. That Search for Mickey movie was in the works for quite some time, but they couldn't get the script right, apparently. Actually, anything with the classic "3" would suit me as well...but with Stainton's public statement about 2D being put on hold, this dream does not look like it will come to be - at least not in a form that I'm looking forward to.

I look forward to Home on the Range, so I hope Disney starts a long line of cow-related films.

And more Pooh movies. Owl's Big Adventure...umm....Christopher Robin in the Hood...err....Piglet's Big Movie 2: Piglet in the City...The Big Beaver Movie (ok, that might attract a different sort of crowd)....I'll have to think about this some more...

I would actually like to see disney make a more adult minded animated movie. I think it should be very interesting, they could still keep their drawing style, script ideas, hell, even make it a musical! but more mature. hey id be all for a PG-13 animated disney flick!

I think Disney should make live action multi-episode shows of the Meisakus:

Not even Disney is better than the World Masterpiece Theater, (Meisaku).

I'd love to see a live-action feature film series based on the "Chronicles of Pyrdain", or any of Tamara Pierce's "Tortall" quartets.

I've never played Kingdom Hearts, but it could be great!

But animation wise-almost anything 2-D.

As for Pooh: Eeyore's Tragedy, and the finale movie
They missed their chance to have any sort of Kanga and Roo movie (Springtime with Roo, the segment in Piglet's Movie where they move into the Wood).
Owl and Gopher are too annoying to have their own movies.

The problem with Kingdom Hearts is... it's a game as such it doesn't have a proper coherant story. No game to film movie has really worked, because they're different mediums. It's hard to take one from one to another. (The only game to film I think could work is a Silent Hill 2 movie - but that's only because the SH2 game was more like a movie than a game. Sadly I think a movie based on SH1 will suck eggs.)

And any film or tv series wouldn't be the story of the game, so they'd have to write a new story. But writing a proper story with all those characters will be hard to do.

I don't really think it will work (and this is from a guy who loves crossovers).

I think Disney should do a Pied Piper movie, DTV movies of their popular TV shows rather than movies (I guarentee nobody would complain about a Rescue Rangers movie or Gummi Bears movie). Personally I'd like to see a Bonkers DTV.
