Bill Nye the Science Guy comes to the club!!!

Post by disneyfella »

I just got off the phone with the DMC, and apparently they just received a list that had the next exclusive and they are getting a bunch of Bill Nye the Science guy episodes and a few educational shows (i.e. Safety with electricity, etc.).

I'm Not sure how many Bill Nye episodes there are per disc, but they have like, digestion, respiration, storms, etc. The woman read a list of about 8-10 titles (there may be several episodes per title.....then again maybe not). Anyway, I"m kind of excited kind of blah.

I like Bill Nye the science guy, but I was much more hoping for Mr. Boogedy or Child of Glass to show up in the club. After Polly and Polly Comin' Home, I seriously thought it was finally feasible that we might get Mr. Boogedy and Bride of Boogedy this year as DMC Exclusives.........I'm still holding out hope ;)

Thanks for the info, I haven't seen Bill Nye in years. I'll hold off and see what they do with this (Zorro  )

That's interesting news, but they've offered enough tv material in the last few months. I'm hoping they offer more out of print theatrical movies from the 1960's - 90's. I'm waiting for A Light In The Forest, Westward Ho the Wagons, Almost Angels, Charlie and the Angel, Superdad, and many others.

I'm looking to do an order and while I'm not really interested in Bill Nye I am interested in the Timon and Pumba video. How long is it and is it any good?

I remember this show growing up. it's very educational and it actually helped me on a science test, which i thought was pretty cool. I think it's great that Disney is releasing series from the 80's --truly the greatest era in television! :excellent:

These must be selling well if they came out with a new wave, huh? I bet that science teachers and parents who home-school probably make a big chunk of the buyers.
