UncleEd Has Crossed the Line

Post by Lazario »

I have literally had it up to here with the huge amount of disrespect gay members of this board are getting and the tolerance shown to liberal-bashers and now, vicious attacks of gay people. Everyone here knows anyone using the word "n*gg*r" would be torn down in a second and gutted inside, out. The same needs to be done in this case.

Does one single person here support or think there is any excuse for his use of the word "faggot" in the Disney Discussion board??? That is an outright attack on every gay person on this entire board. And this has been festering here since March 15 - 2 entire days!

And I will not stand for it. If something is not done about it in the next 3 days, I am leaving.

UncleEd has Crossed the Line

I agree. The N word and the word UncleEd uses all the time are the same. I was talking to my friend about this. African Americans use the N word sometimes themselves, but usually in a negative way. On the Boondocks, a cartoon made by an African American about African Americans, the word is used to describe a negative protrayal of a black person, usually a black man. I know gay people sometimes use the word UncleEd uses to mean a negative portrayal of their own kind. However, it's still offensive and shouldn't be used by people who aren't gay like the N word shouldn't be used by people who aren't black.

I wish that no one would use it, and tell my gay friends not to, but there's only so much I can do, I can't change all of gay society. But you can do something on this online society.

Personally, I feel offended when anyone says it. I'm not a very emotional person, but it hurts, it just plain hurts when people use the word.

There actually are quite a few gay members on this board (and it's not just about performing gay acts, some people just are gay and haven't even acted on it yet, it's just what they are). So UncleEd is hurting people on this board. Please, do something about this.

Thank you.

Though your response was a little foggy, it's good to finally have some support around here when I really need it (though - big thanks to Escapay as well, and 2 or three other members for their encouragement in non-crisis situations).

To be fair, though, when checking out the attendance records of Luke and Aaron, they haven't been present on the board often this week / the end of last week, so it's possible they haven't seen this stuff yet.

But this is the straw that broke the camel's back. UncleEd's behavior here is far worse than what has ever been held against me and PapiBear. I expect things this offense to be removed or stopped, regardless of who it is directed toward. The "personal attack" thing is immaterial this time.

This has got to stop. And if it does not, I am leaving.

Oh, well, maybe it seemed foggy because I wasn't responding exactly to what you said, just to what UncleEd did in general.

Once again I agree with what you said.

And so do I. I actually think UncleEd's post is rather disgusting. What on earth is his problem? Oh well ... I guess he has his nice group of disinfected straight guys to speak with, doesn't he?

Lazario, while I wholeheartily agree UncleEd is being inconsiderate and is getting way out of line, you still treat members badly sometimes. Like for me, when I asked a simple question and you gave me a response that said something like "Nobody cares what you say. Face it." I found that disrespectful and to tell you the truth it hurt.

I just wanted to get that out because you're being a bit of a hypocrite. I'm certaintly not personally attacking you with that statement, and I really don't want to hold a grudge with you. I enjoy reading your posts and hearing your opinions.

Hopefully we can be friends.

"Inconsiderate"? It's far beyond that now. Being inconsiderate indicates selfishness, hatred is just evil.

This is not a post about me and I won't have it turn into that. But as you can see, I have clearly marked the difference between UncleEd's hatred, and my harsh points of view. No hypocrasy in that whatsoever.

I see no reason why we can't be friends.

And for the record, I know you never attacked me.

I do cringe at the fact that members have to result to using the term "faggot". It is a very negative portraying term and we should not accept it as a forum.
Best Movies of 2009:
1. Moon
2. Inglorious Basterds
3. The Hurt Locker
4. Coraline
5. Ponyo

It is disgusting, and if you look at my YouTube account, you'll see that ever since I posted my anti-Octocat video (which I've now removed) people have been calling me 'faggot' endlessly.
