2007 Film Survivor - Round Eight

Post by jrboy »

Just like a bad reality show in the midst of a writer's strike, it's the game that just keeps coming back, IT'S the..... Full Year 2007 Film Survivor!

Thank you, and welcome to the 2007 Film Survivor, I am your host, Just Myself. Here are some basic rules and objectives. The object of the game is to vote off the films we haven't seen or liked the least until only one film stands as the winner. That film will be declared The 2007 Film Survivor.

Film Selection

Our selection of films are those released on 400 screens or more in the United States between January 1st, 2007 and December 31st, 2007. This does not include films released in a limited run that expanded after Jan. 1st (e.g., Children Of Men, Dreamgirls). Films released in a limited run before Dec. 31st that expanded to over 400 theaters after Dec. 31st will be included.

Voting

Anybody can vote. Each round of voting will last for 48 hours. In the event of a tie-breaker, voting will be extended another 24 hours. Any votes after the original 48 hour period will not be counted. All votes must be in a bold type-face, like this, in order to be counted. No exceptions. Vote for the film(s) that you haven't seen or liked the least. In this round, we will be voting out 8 films of your choosing.

This is repulsive. Why should people have similar votes?

The original survivor games, of which I was a highly active player and had one survivor contest, were not rulled by these fatal flaws.
Best Movies of 2009:
1. Moon
2. Inglorious Basterds
3. The Hurt Locker
4. Coraline
5. Ponyo
