I got an email from Roy

Post by karlsen »

This feels a little odd to say but I got an email from a real Disney today. 8)

Some time before christmas I sent an email to Roy thru the SaveDisney website and offered to help if they needed it. I also had some good advices when it comes to how the website should look so it looks more "profesional" and not a home made one.

Today I recived a email back (it was in a general tone but it showed that Roy had read my email). That is so cool, I realy have to print out that one and save it. :D

Wow. Very nice to see that they're actulally taking the time to read and respond to these, especially considering the fact that they're probably getting a LOT of mail. I'm thinking about sending them something, too.

WOW! Glad you received some feedback regarding your e-mail. I hope you will be able to share what he wrote to you if it's not too personal (I'm being nosy here).

That's cool! I can relate to the feeling - Leonard Maltin returned my e-mail to him recently. It's a rush. :D

It's always great to get mail like that. I sent Roy an Email last year and got one back as well. It makes you know at least they care.

I think we should write a email to Roy:

Dear Roy, you hired Michael Eisner and he gave you beautiful succesful movies, now, if hes trying to kill traditional animation an any little peace of creativity in the upcoming features replacing it with formula cliché stories you dont give up. Go to that criogenic laboratory and take off you uncle Walt from that box... or have some corage and fight! fight to the death!

It would be perfect timing if Walt could be unfrozen alive now. Send him and Eisner down to Mexico, stick 'em in a pen, and let them have a fight.

Poco, it was not realy the content of the email that was interesting. It was more the fact that it was Roy that sent it :)

It was in general terms thanking for all the support and telling me that he was aprisiating my support. But it was in such spesific terms that I understood that he must have read my email before he answered.

I know what you are saying karlson. I would be estatic if i got an e-mail from Roy too. GLad to know that the e-mail he sent you was specific enough to know he read your e-mail. Must be a thank you for support.
