Disney in concert

Here in Belgium this weekend there was an event called "Disney in concert". This was an event where famous people from Belgium sang songs from Disney Movies like "The Lion King", "Hercules", "Aladdin", ... I saw something of it on the news and it sounded great. It has a big screen where they show parts of the movies where the songs are from. I didn't know they were doing this untill I saw it on the news here, but I'm planning on getting tickets for it when they do something like this next year. Anyway, I'm wondering if this ever happened in the USA or somewhere else? Or is this the first time they're doing something like this?
