Which DVDs Are You Going to Buy on 12/11/07?

Post by AwallaceUNC »

This is a huge week with a lot of really great titles coming out. I can't possibly get all that I would like to get right away, but high priority DVDs are:

Walt Disney Treasures: Disneyland - Secrets, Stories & Magic
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix 2D
Walt Disney Treasures: The Chronological Donald - Volume 3
Walt Disney Treasures: The Adventures of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit
High School Musical 2: Extended Edition

...And then lower priority DVDs include:

Frasier: S10
The Bourne Ultimatum
Beverly Hills, 90210: S3

...And then I'd also like to rent December Boys at some point.

Of course, those United Artists box sets look awesome but are, of course, entirely unrealistic.

Here is Luke's complete guide to the many DVD releases for 12/11: http://www.dvdizzy.com/dvdschedule.html#1211

First on the list will the Walt Disney Treasures - all three of them. Sadly there is only three this wave. Let's hope that next wave will see official release of "Song of the South" and "So Dear To My Heart" in some special way - completely unedited.

Next on the list: The Bourne Ultimatum - 2-Disc Steelbook from Best Buy, along with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and, of course we can' t forget Lost - Season Three.

Those are the high priority, the rest go in my letter to Santa which has to be in the mail by the 15th.

:)
The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!
I LOVE my Blu-Ray Disc Player!

The Bourne Ultimatim Steelbook is a 2Disc set?! YES!!!

Well, then, I'm getting TBU:Steelbook and (maybe, very doubtful right now) Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix. I'm putting Lost: S3 on my list to Sandy Claws. Also, at some point or another I'll rent December Boys.

Cheers,
JM :thumb:

P.S.: Is there a list of all the Best Buy exclusive steelbooks? I know The Departed and Live Free or Die Hard had one, but what else?
Cheers,
JM :thumb:

Lost and High School Musical 2 are my main priorities for that week. However, I'll probably just wait until my birthday (which is exactly a week from that day) or Christmas, especially since I'm nowhere near being finished with my Christmas shopping for others.

I am not buying anything this week. I will buy Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix later in the month as I used my money to buy Pirates of the Caribbean this week.
