"The Little Mermaid" NES Game

Post by musicradio77 »

I also went to a flea market in addition to the "Sleeping Beauty" LP I got, is an NES game called "The Little Mermaid". This game is for a die-hard Disney Princess fan, and as you know, Ariel is a Princess.

This game is way easy, but it has 5 levels. I got this game for $3 and it was good. I haven't played "The Little Mermaid" before, but I played the entire game. Here is a pic of an NES game that I got.

Here is a little video of a classic Princess game for the NES.

Oh I use to have that lol. That was probably one of the first video games I ever beat heh. I look at it now and it makes like no sense to the movie(I didn't know how to read yet so it never occured to me how the games story is extremely ridiculous), but from what I remember it was really fun, I always found the first "smaller" Ursula in her lair harder then the final battle with Ursula where she's all huge...man..thats a real dusty memory for me heh but a good one, probably helped make me the gamer I use to be lol.

OMG! I remember the day, my mom got that for me. We went to Kaybee Toys, and it was like $50. It seemed harder at the time, because I was only five years old. Such a flashback!!!

I also whould like to add The Little Mermaid:Magic In Two Kingdoms (GBA) and Pocahontas (Genesis).
I download those Genesis Aladdin,Beauty And The Beast and Pocahontas game that are playble on PC (PM me and send me your Email if you want it) and Aladdin is broing and the GBA is better,Beauty and the Beast-Belle is fun but i got lost with the roses thing and Beast is way too hard,Pocahontas is a lot of fun.
Disney Princess for GBA is fun,Aurora,Jasmine and Ariel are the most fun and the level with all the princesses,Cinderella (only the part with the dancing) and Belle are the hardest.
Cinderella:Magical Dreams is also a lot of fun,i got it in August and i still play it since then.
TLM:MITK is also a lot fun i still play it,it's also i think fix a little thing that should be in Cinderella:Magical Dreams.
I didn't played those Mulan and Snow White and not TLM nes game but i played Ariel:The Little Mermaid in which you play as Ariel or Triton and rescue merpeople.

Has anyone played the Pinocchio game for Sega, it was one one of my favorites as a kid, the Jungle book was also good. In Pinocchio you played also as Jiminy, there was a Got no Strings level, Monstro and Pleasure Island.

I haven't really played any of the other ones, but I LOVED the Little Mermaid for NES. I still have it. I thought it was so hard, I only got to level like 3 when I was a kid, but beat it when I got older. I remember the first time I ever saw the ending to the game when I couldn't beat it. It was at my friend/neighbor's house and her older sister beat it all the way through without any trouble!!! I thought it was so cool.
Yeah Disney!!!

Growing up I had the Aladdin game for Genesis (superior to the SNES version I've heard), the Lion King game for Genesis (which I think is the same as the SNES version, but I wouldn't know as I've never had a SNES), and the Toy Story game for Genesis.

I also had Toy Story 2 for N64 which I actually thought was fun but I'm sure it's generally dis-liked.

And of course no Disney game discussion would be complete without mention the Kingdom Hearts games! (which, if it weren't for Disney, I never would have played as I have never played Final Fantasy).

Oh yeah and Nightmare Before Christmas Oogie's Revenge for PS2 and Xbox is a lot of fun too. :D
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

The Little Mermaid NES on Virtual console?

Post by leuchtmuschel »

I hope that this game will be appearing on Vitual Console at Wii soon.

I would buy it immediately because Ariel is my favourite character.

Another very good game is "The little mermaid 2 : Pinball frenzy" (Gameboy Color)! I play it very often.

@Nintendo: You have officially made a promise that you would change stars into Wii-points very soon. You have to keep your word. I need these points to buy "The Little Mermaid" (NES).
