Several sources report that Hong Kong Disneyland's second year figures are even more disappointing than the shortfall last year.
http://news.hkdlsource.com/story/191
"Hong Kong Disneyland is expected to struggle to achieve an attendance of 4 million in its second year of business, well below its first-year performance of 5.2 million...Although it is not yet September, the official second anniversary date for the theme park, current attendance figures do not look like they are going to break targets. 'With a daily average of less than 11,000 people, or about 33 per cent of the park's 34,000 visitor capacity, it is far from meeting its second year target of at least 5.4 million visitors..'"

The park has a visitor capacity of only 34,000 people?? Wow, I didn't realize it was that small! 34,000 is almost a slow day in Florida's Magic Kingdom.
I have to say that the idea of being in a Disney park with only 11,000 people for a full day is exciting (though not as cool as the less than 5,000 that used to be admitted to E-Ride nights in Florida).

This was posted on another forum a while back and shows the comparative sizes of all the Disneyland Parks.

Disneyland Paris is the largest, while Hong Kong Disneyland is only about the size of two of the lands of the other Disney Parks.
How does HK Disneyland work? Is it still divided up into 4 lands and have a Main Street USA? They must be tiny lands if it is.
