I read a rumor that the next wave of treasures will probably include:
-Mickey Mouse in B/W vol. 2
-Assortment Set (to include BEN AND ME and DONALD IN MATHMAGIC LAND)
-Mickey Mouse Club
-The Complete Pluto

Probably a good combination of episodes. And now less than 2 for each day. And I would hope a Lenard Maltin look inside the MMC phenom. I also wonder if they will include all three versions of the MMC. The original, the one in after and the one in the 90s.

We know that Mickey in B&W is coming out for sure. There has been some debate as to what the others will be on a few other threads, but at least we know we are getting the rest of the Mickey cartoons! :D

All of those sound great - especially Mickey Mouse Club, which I almost forgot existed having not seen them in so damn long. But I really am ready for the True-Life Adventures and the Zorro series - I hope those come out ASAP.

it all depends if they decide to stick with the old december releasing dates or since they postponed this wave they'll postpone all future waves. I hope its december!!
I read it on a review for Chronological donald on Amazon, and the person got it from a forum, the animationshow forum.

They do sound good, and I have heard that rumour before (so it must be true :P).
Actually, that may be very close to the actual set, although I'd be surprised if the "education" set is not released in the next wave.

At this point though, I'd be happy to just get Wave 3! But I guess we will have to wait for those, won't we....

The special set is not due for next year, but True Life Adventure is, Trojan Mouse stated earlier.
And Zorro will NOT have a Treasure set - it´s too long for that - but maybe season boxes with the whole series.

I think Mickey and Pluto are givens, however, MMC has been batted back and forth, due to legal issues or something, and may be questionable, also the 4th slot seems to shift between true life adventures and a compalation set, so this too is questionable, but we can expect Wave 4 in December it was on the disney site, that wave 3 will be spring 2004, and wave four would be December 2004, so no worries there...

Definately can't wait for Mickey in Black and White 2!!!!!

I would think a disneyland tin would be sloted for wave 4 as the past three have had them...
Wave 1 - Disneyland USA
Wave 2 - Behind the Scenes
Wave 3 - Tomarrowland

I guess we'll see...

A very good point. But if I recall several of these true life adventures were shown on the Disneyland TV show. It would be easy for Maltin to include the "original TV introduction by Walt Disney" for these pieces. Just a thought!

Yes that's right, and I wouldn't be surprised if they named the True-Life tin "Walt's Adventureland", seeing as Walt said on the show that the True-Life adventures were broadcast from Adventureland.

Isn't Davy Crockett also from the Disneyland TV show?

It is indeed, and all the introductions by Walt (and "informercial announcements" for the upcoming films such as 20,000 Leagues) are included on the discs as proof. So I guess there are 4 tins worth of Disneyland episodes technically...

Well, now that Roy is out, the "True-Life Adventures" set may be delayed... Since they are Roy's babes, he certainly had lots of involvement with the production of the DVD.
