Yes you read right.... Apparently there is   a High School Muiscal Video Game coming soon for the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, and the Playstation 2.... Yes just when you think they can not milk any more money out of the High School Musical Franchise. they come out with 3 Video Games for it... ... Perhaps that High School Musical Ballet that someone sarcastically mentioned may be a reality after all...

The Wii High School Muscial Game is priced at $59.99 and Comes with a Microphone

The PS2 Version is $49.99 and also comes with a Microphone

The Nintendo DS is priced at $29.99

The Wii game looks interesting, I may give it a rental.

And I wouldn't be surprised if that price was wrong, I thought all Wii games were going to be $49.99, although... that may just be 1st-party titles.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

High School Musical: Sing It! (PS2/Wii)

With “High School Musical: Sing It!,” available on Wii and PlayStation 2 systems, players express themselves through music with an all-new karaoke twist where they can choose their favorite “High School Musical” character and sing all of the songs from “High School Musical” and “High School Musical 2.” Debuting as one of the first video games to have a microphone on the Wii platform, “High School Musical: Sing It!” features motion-captured-choreography from the original movie’s dance routines and offers two play modes. In story mode - players live the movies performing songs beginning from “Start of Something New” to “We’re All in this Together” and “What Time Is It?.” In party mode - friends compete karaoke-style against each other. Players can choose their favorite backdrop and belt out solos or duets of approximately 30 hit songs, including popular tunes from other familiar Disney Channel favorites. High School Musical: Sing It! will be available in August and is anticipated to be rated “E” for everyone.

On Wii, the game will be priced at $59.99 bundled with a special edition “High School Musical” branded microphone from Logitech. On the PlayStation 2 system, the games will be $49.99 bundled with the microphone and $39.99 without the microphone.

High School Musical: Makin’ the Cut! (NDS)

In the only “High School Musical” themed handheld video game “High School Musical: Makin’ the Cut!” for Nintendo DS™, players can show off their musical talents as they play along with the movie’s hit songs. In this addictive rhythm-based game, fans play as any of the six “High School Musical” stars or their own customized character as they dance to the beat and travel across America competing in the ultimate musical competition. Players can compete head-to-head and trade their original music video creations wirelessly with friends. With 12 songs from High School Musical” and “High School Musical 2,” friends can enjoy the tunes they love together.

I was hoping more like you have to bop your way to the end of each level, where you must then do battle with a Ryan or Sharpay boss.

Yes according to Gamestop.com there is a new Hannah Montana DS game coming around Halloween time...

But for those that can't wait until Halloween to buy it you can always buy the 1st Hannah Montana Nintendo DS game which is only $19.99

You're right. I've heard the soundtrack, but I haven't seen the movie, and yet this whole franchise is getting on my nerves and Disney's totally out of control with it. ENOUGH ALREADY, DISNEY!!

At first I was thinking...WHAT???

But since this is a singing video game like Karaoke Revolution, this actually makes a lot of sense. Well, compared to HSM On Ice, this seems a whole lot more plausible!

The only thing that stinks about this is that it limits the number of songs you'll ever get to have on this game. At least with KR or DDR, you play levels and earn new songs to sing/dance to. With this game, you've only got the songs in the movie(s) and that's all you know you're getting.

I guess though that you can make the argument that people getting this game probably don't get tired of the HSM songs.

Okay, this is really getting out of hand. First a sequel, now THIS!? I doubt it will get many good reviews in my opinion.

I'm sick of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just because you hate it DOESN'T mean everybody else does. How do you know it'g oing to get bad reviews. You don't! One of the members said they haven't even seen it,and yet they're still bashing it. Instead of coming to HSM threads to just complain, just stay away from them!

Sorry if that was mean but it's truly getting annoying.

I'm going to wait and try it out before I decide if it's good or not. Most people here are just instantly against it because it's HSM, but what if it does turn out to be fun? If you avoid it just because it's HSM and you think Disney's milking it for what it's worth, you could miss out on something fun.
