Guess you were right there. Here's what Luke just wrote on the front page-
But yeah anyway, good to see more DCOM releases. Maybe this thread's name should change to "Disney Channel DVDs- Oct 9th- Hannah Montana and Johnny Kaphala" or something.

Okay, I'm happy that DCOMs are so doing well and that they're getting releases, and that Hannah Montana is as popular as well, but it's about time that we get some season sets. I mean you can even get season sets off iTunes, I think it's time Disney started to release them. Or at least release the original Johnny Tsunami movie with the sequel, how weird is that, to release the sequel but not the original. And they should partner Hannah Montana with The Suite Life or Cody again, it's unfair to release more of HM just because it's backed by a great musical debut.Hot on the heels of their warmly-received most recent releases, Buena Vista Home Entertainment has scheduled more Disney Channel DVDs for later this year. The recently-debuted original movie sequel Johnny Kaphala: Back on Board and the 3rd all-"Hannah Montana" episode compilation, Life's What You Make of It will each come to disc on October 9th.

I agree- it is strange how they're releasing JK:BoB without releasing "Johnny Tsunami". I'd buy both. But, through the Disney Movie Club, you can buy "Jumping Ship", which is the sequel to "Horse Sense", yet you can't buy "Hore Sense". I've been putting off buying JS, since it's weird not to have the original movie, too.

Here's some more info on these releases, mainly about the bonus features-
-James
Kaphala (SRP: $26.99), the sequel to 1999's Johnny Tsunami, will include the bonus features "The Dirt on Dirtboarding", a multi-angle board stunts feature, and musical performances from Jonas Brothers and T-Squad. "Hannah" (SRP: $19.99) will contain 4 episodes plus Billy Ray Cyrus' "Ready, Set Don't Go" music video and the "Backstage Pass" featurette from the Hannah Montana: 2-Disc Special Edition Soundtrack. Both DVDs offer a fullscreen and Dolby 5.1 feature presentation.
