How well is Brother Bear doing?

Post by Prince Phillip »

Well I saw it opening day and I just saw it again yesterday, first time I saw the theatre was half full yester it was in a much smaller theatre and only like 3 other families were in there, this makes me sad cause it is such a good film and I would hate to thik that it will be considered a failure, so does anyone know the status of this film?

P.S. I hope it makes it into the top 10 of the count down...

It's currently at $78 million domestically, which is undoubtedly a profit, with international markets, DVDs, etc. So, I don't think it can be considered financially a failure, certainly not to the degree of Treasure Planet. At the same time, I don't think I'd categorize its box office take as a rousing success. It will probably wind up in the Top 25 of the year's box office performers, so it's closer to a success than a failure.

from what i know it has made 77 million in just 6 weeks, very good for a Disney animated movie unlike Treasure Planet (which in my opinion is just another version of Titan AE)
