Hey Luke, I absolutely love the site and forum. They're AWESOME! I was just thinking about how the site would be even more awesome if you found people to volunteer as reviewers. The one thing I feel the site is lacking is reviews. To read reviews on Disney DVDs I always have to go to places where first of all not all Disney DVDs are reviewed, and second of all the reviews are many times written by non-toon fans. It would be great if reviews were started on the site. Anyways, just a suggestion. Keep up the great work!
Good idea. Some of the few reviews we have were written by a volunteer, and if anyone else wants to submit a review for a title they recently checked out or a favorite, that's cool too. E-mail it and I'll post it (even if I have been sitting on a L&S review that was submitted last December...I will post that!).
I recently saw a few Disney films for the first time (Saludos, 3 Caballeros, the live-action Jungle Book), and would be willing to put together brief reviews for them, and of course, there's a bunch of titles I own that I just haven't reviewed.
It's all a matter of inspiration, and I often find it difficult to get inspired to write big reviews that seemingly very few people check out or care about. But I promise you I'll get inspired to do more sometime soon. And in the meantime, I encourage anyone with a bent towards writing, to go ahead and submit some. You don't need to worry about formatting, I think the general structure to the <a href="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/reviewind ... Reviews</a> I have now is good. But you can depart from that layout if you'd like.
Oh, and another thing, I'd be a lot more encouraged to write reviews if the studio was actually sending product to review as they do for other DVD sites. But they're not.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Okay, well you inspired me enough to put up the long-delayed Lilo & Stitch DVD review (which I didn't write), and the brand new Saludos Amigos DVD review (which I did).
It takes a lot of time and thought to do them, so I'll revisit more later in the week, hopefully.
Any specific titles you'd like me to review?
As always, the index of all reviews is here:

I'm not sure if you have the movie or not but I would love to read a review of Atlantis as I've never seen it before and am interested in it. It doesn't really matter if it's the 2-disc set or the 1-disc set.Luke wrote:Any specific titles you'd like me to review?
One tip for this is to put the titles in alphabetical order so that it's easier for readers to find the review that they're looking for.Luke wrote:As always, the index of all reviews is here:

I totally understand. This is a fine Disney site so hopefully if reviews begin being posted frequently Disney will be encouraged to send out screeners.Luke wrote: Oh, and another thing, I'd be a lot more encouraged to write reviews if the studio was actually sending product to review as they do for other DVD sites.
